After seeing the Tyrant destroyer unveiled on stream I jumped in-game to start building components first thing after work. Seeing that the icons for the components it requires were the exact same as for all previous destroyers, I crafted the necessary number of Engines, Reactors, Deflectors, Exterior Structures, and Computing Systems.
Only, I noticed the Computing Systems counter didn’t update. In fact, it wasn’t a Computing System at all that was needed: instead it was a brand new component called Destroyer Computing Systems that require Jericho Destroyer Activators instead of Processing Blocks. There was no mention in either the stream or the patch notes that this new component was brought into existence, nor is there even the slightest visual difference in the icon used for the parts. Only the statement “you need a new part called Jericho Destroyer Activators” was ever given.
Due to this misinformation, I would like the three Computing Systems that I crafted be removed from my Workshop inventory, and my 66 monocrystals returned so I may craft the proper, new components.
And the fact that you need 300 activators is amazing. What will they come up with next?!?!
If you farm monocrystals daily then all is not lost if they don’t revert this. 66 in a month is do-able. Because you still need 300 of those silly JPUs

Yes, the error can be compensated for with a month of hard work. That’s not the problem. The problem is lack of communication by the devs screwing me out of materials I’ve been saving for since August. By doing all dailies every day between now and a month from now (suspected end date of Tyrant construction), I would have just barely earned enough mono to build the thing. Now, I can’t do that.
And before you bring it up, mono farming is an absolute myth. In all the Fire Support I’ve ran since they “added” monocrystals as loot drops so many months ago, I have only ever found one (1) single monocrystal. That’s also with the Soldier of Fortune pack purchased for +1 item drops.

They screwed you out of it? Have you payed attention to any stream or patch notes lately? They stated many times, even in the dev blog that the new ship will require a new material for said structures…if you watched the stream, you could have seen for yourself there were new structures. It’s entirely your fault for not looking close enough or seeing what you are building, lol don’t blame the Devs for your mistakes.

You appear to be bad at reading. Have you payed attention to any of the posts already said here? I’ve stated twice now that I knew about the new parts. The issue is that it wasn’t stated that there was a new component. Even the Sirius used the exact same five basic components as the Rank 8 and Rank 11 destroyers; exactly zero indication was given that a new component was required.
