A. I un-docked from the station and went farming for materials in Open Space. I got a Light Cell and a few other goodies worth easily over 1mill credits but now that I’ve returned to station I have 0 Credits…
A. I don’t know why this bug occurred I’m not a computer programmer.
A. So far it’s only happened to me once but I do know all my money is gone.

A. Logs for the past few days are uploaded…

I know the Cargo Drones take 10% but I still don’t think I should have 0 credits… I sold a piece of Pure Silicone just to be sure I actually GOT money for it and I did so now I have 2500 credits but that’s it.

Let me guess, you got some blueprints.

The price shown for blueprint is already 10% of the real price, so it means that if you send a blueprint via drone, you pay the full amount.

So a 900k blueprint sent via drone cost 900k. Conclusion, never send blueprints via drones.

Actually this is false, but more than likely the problem.

Sending a 900k blueprint via the drones will cost 90k, but then you can sell the blueprint for 900k. If you do not sell it however, you will be down that many credits. This can result in loss of credits.

This is also the case for any other non-trophy item such as materials, but it is less noticed.

Selling price shown is 900000 credits for a Tier V Blueprint, this is 10% of standard price, which is otherwise 9000000 credits.

You cannot expect to get 10% cost of the selling price, which is 90000 credits, because it’s impossible.

Never send any blueprints via Drone, unless if you can afford it.

Conclusion: NOT a bug!

It’s “10% of selling price” as stated above literally every cargo drone. Just fyi.

But yeah no bug.

Unfortunately Koro is right. If you have blueprints, the cost of sending them via transport drone is a value listed when you highlight the item in your cargo space.  So if you have a blueprint worth  9millions with selling price of 900k drone will deduct 10% of the “purchase” value - in this case 900k.

So yes, the rule is unless you really need that blueprint - never send a blueprint via the drone.

Either nobody here can read or this actually IS a bug. It is supposed to be 10% of SELL value not buy value.

There’s also the off-chance that the devs changed it without telling us to buy value.

The problem I have is I had like 200-300k to start with before I undocked from the station and then yes I did find some blueprints but I also found like 2 Light Cells worth 1mill each and some other random items that sell for a bit as well… its 10% but i still shouldn’t have 0…

i found 2 Mass Drivers 900k and 1 Ion Defuser 456k so 10% would be what like 200-300k? which yes is what I had but a light cell is a trophy and I had 2 of em which is 1mill each so I should techniclly still have like 1.5mill or something?

Just doesn’t make any sense… and what is the point of using the cargo drones then if they’re just gonna take all your money??

I feel like it is a bug then or rather a poorly implemented mechanic… because again what’s the point of using a drone then? like if you are out farming and trying to make the big $$$$ then cargo drones are there but with the way they work it’s like they’re only good if your trying to farm materials like Crystal Shards that literally cost nothing. you might as well just remove cargo drones then honestly… they serve no real purpose if im gonna farm materials I want the good xxxx and that is obviously going to drain my wallet sooo I’ll just start flying back to station then or just quit the game cause that’s a big xxxx waste of time.

To stop this from happening and be better towards their playerbase/customers I feel the Developers should reword the Cargo Drones and actually have it SAY what it is doing because had I of known this or for better terms been able to read better English I would of just started flying back n forth between station and where I am farming.

I blame the developers or Gaijin because they are an Russian based company so I’ma guess the developers don’t know English very well or something idk but it’s pretty bad.

I agree with this…

They actually changed it (according to skula they didnt, but i remember very well gaining profit from sending and after that selling BPs)

You can also gain good loot like neodium plates, enriched berillyum, vouchers, credits…without paying much. Anyways if you are interested, you can look a bug report i made long ago about this same matter:

Blueprints DO cost 100% of the sell price.

I got like 40M worth of blueprints this past days, so I’m 100% sure about it, I even tested it a few minutes ago.

Started with 7M, got ~15 blueprints, droped to 4M (with 2M credit won). Then I sold those blueprints, and now I have 9M.

BTW, if you drop to 0 credits, the cargo drone is free.

So if you plan on selling blueprints to get money, always spend all your money before, like buying ships or mass selling mk2 items. Because you’ll get your money back really fast.
