Bluescreen/PC Crash shortly after launching into home screen

Description of the problem, what happened: Every time I launch the game recently (past 6 months). I get past the log in screen, and onto the docking station where the news windows pop up etc. My game then stutters and crashes my pc into a BSOD every single time. I have tried reinstalling.

 

My PC was running normal temps during all this, I can run War Thunder just fine as well

 

This happens every single time I launch. I previously could play at 60 fps just fine before this bug. I put many hours into the game

 

I have no changed ANY hardware. I just booted up the game one day, and it crashed as I specified.

Please create a full bug report including log files.

Here we go, I posted my logs and DxDiag file for my system specs. Screenshots and videos are impossible because of the game insta-crashing my pc upon launching.

 

Anything else I can provide to help?

Ok, then you shouldn’t run in driver issues when updating your drivers.

What is the Error Code of your BoD? -> prevent reboot after crash: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/windows7/ht/automatic-restart-windows-7.htm

 

You can google the error code and/or print it here. If it is hinting to be a driver problem then roll back some device drivers to older versions.

Usually I would suspect memory or PSU issue, but since a couple other player I know are having the same issue, it must be a driver type of issue that caused by one of the recent update. They’re have an issue where you hit Hanger after battle will result BSOD, it may relate to your issue.

Yeah, it’s anytime I am in the hanger. Combat silky smooth. It had to be an update that broke it for my graphics card I am sure.

I can not do that. The game crashes instantly after launching into the ship dock.

C :\Users\ YourName \Documents\My Games\StarConflict\user_config.xml

C might variate, but usually it’s located there, i highly expect that.

 

Do some experiments with your user_config.xml, i recommend you use Notepad(++) for this purpose, but it doesn’t really matter.

Be aware, putting in unreal values might also result crashs.

Tried it, updated, reinstalled game. Still broken.

You reinstalled the same driver? I dont think that corrupts out of nowhere. Try to reinstall the driver which was delivered with your card.

What does the Bluescreen say, It has an error code.
