Black boxes quickly appearing then dissapearing

Hey everyone,

 

I’d like to start out this thread by complementing the developers on a wonderful game.  I downloaded it yesterday as it was free to play via steam, and I’m completley hooked.  Been looking for a space shooter since I became obsessed with Star Fox back on the N64.

 

That being said, I do have a slight annoyance with the game.  In the middle of a round, seemingly random, black boxes will quickly appear then dissapear on the right side of my screen, as well as the top left.  I’d say this occurs every 2 or 3 minutes, very rapidly.

 

It’s enough to be very distracting, and takes away from the visual beauty during gameplay.

Anyone experience this occurance? Any fixes?

After further digging in the logs, I see a recurring warning:

Could this be the culprit?

sounds familiar. i heard about a guy who had to reduce his FPS otherwise his game will act up …

While it is good that you’ve tried to show us logs, we still need to have a full log file of the game and not an excerpt. 

Please attach a full .log file from a session, in which this problem occured. (.zip it, if possible)

Ok, so we’ve looked through logs, and it remains a bit… unclear. Can you also provide us with a screenshot or a short video of this glitch?

Sorry for the late reply, I was on vacation with my family.

 

Using Screen-o-matic, I recorded an entire match in which the glitch occured 4 different times.  Oddly enough, upon reviewing the video myself, the glitches DO NOT appear on the recording!  It appears as if my problem may be caused by individual hardware (ie display perhaps?)

 

Sorry for leading the development team on a wild goose chase.  Seeing as I do not have any visual evidence of the glitch I’m witnessing, the best I can do is say thank you for the attention to my issue.
