Positioning really is the thing that matters the most, and the tyrant simply has trouble fighting a federation ship when that ship is in its advantage zone, open space. Where as the Tyrant defeats the Sirius when it’s in its advantage zone, within structured areas and enclosed spaces or short distance areas. It says nothing about the builds themselves.

If Tyrant fight only in enclosed spaces, Sirius can just can leave him alone and go for objectives or kill smaller ships. While if Tyrant leave his fort for a second, Sirius can come and send him back home.
It felt more like I’m bullying him and he is forced to hide to survive.

The Tyrant will excel more when there are other ships to get regen from.
But the range on the shield regen is so small, and that ship soooo slooooooow. And more ships also means more damage taken. Especially when you need to be at 2k range to get your shield modifier working.
But well, once you get used to Federation destroyers, anything else is crap.
