Asteroid display glitch, can hide inside

One of the asteroids on the map in the image (forgot name) has a volume creation and definition bug. It is shaped in such a manner that a ship can hide inside it on a certain area before hitting the proper volume of the asteroid.

No other details needed, images are self-explanatory:

As you can see my ship can completely disappear. That’s about the point where i hit the actual volume of it, my ship being inside the visual graphics of the asteroid, blocked from view.

Forgot to take a screenshot of the map with the location and this map among many others are not listed for custom battles to possibly have done it there.

This is possible on several other maps as well, I have noticed it when hugging the asteroid or running away and ending up inside it for half a second before I’m out again. It’s hard to replicate for me since it often happend in spots where I wasn’t really able to check the spot itself thoroughly or remember where or what map it was…

Yes it’s fun BUGS, my friend StarTerror (Not Active Again) he’s hunted by 3 ship in detonation mode…and idk…he’s entering the asteroid ‘Map is Eastern Mining Station’Station’…i laughing because he can’t get out from the asteroids…

Some people claim that nuke still can damage them. Stations in pve/detonation are vulnerable to this bug as well, and it’s something related to lag.

Possible. However this was a clear display vs volume glitch. Had no lag and every time i went there i could go inside the roid.

I did it once in a PvE station.  Fortunately for out team it was the last station to capture.

These kinds of bugs can be a dev’s nightmare to find and fix.  I’m not surprised more exist.
