I had it now several times, for the 5th day reward two times in a row, and once with another: I was promised to get one free, so the greeting window opened, and it opened that GS-merchandize window but none of the packs were shown as free, even on page 2… 
And I am pretty sure i did not open them for that day yet, either… lastly even one of the earlier rewards did not show…
I am not sure if they are auto-opened, as I also had no update in the news feed, nor did i really notice any of the resources change…
I am not filing a bug report yet, since I did not save the logs, and I am also currently at work, so I am more or less asking, did anyone else notice this? And if yes, file it!

Occasionally it takes a while for the game to actually give you the freebie. Just play a few games then check again. It does not auto-open as of 1.3.3#1, so that shouldn’t be the problem.
Also, I completely agree that OS missions are bs. Even if you didn’t say it, we all know it deep down in our hearts.

why not simply open dat damn box and instead show a message a la: “Do you want to buy more?” and only that opens the shop, but the pack is opened automatically.
at least hide greed and database incompetence in the ui design!

Bring a gasmask, forecast expects a long period of constant flatulence. Might be flammable too. Who knows what gravity does these days…
