I just build the Archon destroyer but I have no idea how to controle it. It can only go forward and not turn and fire has no effect. I am new to this game so can anybody help me here?

Post a screenshot of your keybinds and test your W and D keys. Those should turn the destroyer.

U have to manually rotate and control your ship or use the standard controls via CTRL (default switch).

Thanks guys. I just found out but it seems a bit awkward. Why not control it like any other ship. I think it makes it much more difficult to manoeuvre it.

It’s because your mods need line of sight to shoot, and even if you can fire with your guns everywhere, you get the most DPS when you shoot broadside.

It makes destroyers much easier to use this way once you get used to it.

 

 

If you find it hard to maneuver you can press CTRL to switch back to the usual controls.
