The thing you are not understanding is, using your own example: Yes, it has more surface to be covered, but why should an interceptor be able to carry a device to engulf the entire surface? The more surface also means that for covering it up it would use more energy, if the energy spec is maintained, as the interceptor doesnt get more powerfull when using it on a frig, then the same web would have to stretch to a bigger surface, thus reducing it’s effect instead of increasing it. It would be the same comparison if you took 1g of butter to cover up a slice of bread, and using the same amount to cover a tennis square. The amount of butter would be the same, but the surface is bigger, but does the area gets more buttered on the tennis square? No, so why should a fixed power weapon do more dammage just because it has to spread into bigger surface? It is just not logical.

Not quite right, you see, only engeneers carry the nanodrone cloud, and they are frigates (surprise!!) and we can say he carries a fuckton of butter, therefore he can repair a frig with 100% efficiency. And would also be able to heal the toast (int) with 100% efficiency. BUUUUUUUUUUUUT, the nerf to the int and fighter healing was due to balance issues. HOW COME??? Simple, it is very much possible for an interceptor to live twice as much as a mega fully good equiped guard. So, what im trying to say is, to take down 25% of the EHP of a guard you take 5 seconds for example, and to take 25% from an int it takes 30sec. AND, the heal they were getting could heal those 25% in 2 secs, while the frigs took a minute to repair that same 25%. Thus, making interceptors much more resilient, therefore if reality fights playability on a game, playability will always win. Therefore your argument is invalid.

Your cellphone doesnt have to move and entire engine to start the engine. Your cellphone will not have to be able to make all eletronics on your car to work, your cellphone basically doesnt do anything that requires real power, whereas the car battery must have more power, have a bigger amount of chemicals, and if you knew how a battery works you wouldnt be speaking this.
