The newbies have there own T3, free from vet interference with no bots.
Many of the players in this hidden T3 are no better or worse than bots.
They get to play and learn together at a level where all the modules and most of the tactics are available to them. That is they can do that without s1 'carrying ’ either side of a match, around 50 pages of the best scores topic are in T3. Players have been so used to stomping around this tier and feeling no shame at beating these players that it does not suprise me that the decision has been made to protect them.
I cant help but feel that much of the anger toward bots is actually more about the loss of getting to play against these new guys.
Now when a vet ques for T3 they play other ppl like them, with the spaces filled with bots, gives you a truer idea of games population balance at that level… vets are the minority.
In summation i imagine new players are fine with it as they do not see any bots. They might actually stay in game beyond T3 because they feel they have a say in matches now.
And vets do the game nor its players any favour by carrying every game or stomping every Ace team they are matched up against.
Not the only one who feels this way about it, had a really good laugh with some when the hidden T3 was found out about.
Newbs will never learn any teamwork if s1 solos all the work for them.
Some people simply refuse to play at higher tiers and will say anything to excuse it.
Only place you can get a team - Coordinate with others an make 4v4 squads then. (Also bs, played T4/5 in squads for over a year)
Iv bought prems at that level - Can still play and there are other gamemode available. (You need premiums? No.)

@JCNB you hardly ever play T3, so this patch didnt affect you at all. Of course you defend it, you are happy that more people join the empty T4 games you used to play. You in 4 vs4 squads? you are a lone wolf, 2 man squads most often. More often you play alone. Have done T3-T4 in squads, more then 15 minutes waiting and often no match at all. You must be a very lucky guy.
I think its quite easy to say; play higher tiers but i happen to like the balance and ships in T3. T4 and T5 is IMO unbalanced and boring, overpowerd LRF, superbuild strafe ships,…
This has nothing to do with Aces in the game, so stop suggesting everyone that plays T3 is there because he wants to shoot Aces or he wants to end first. Its untrue and narrowminded. I do fine to very good in every tier, i dont need to play T3 to end first. I do it because i like the ships and the faster ships.
Learned team play in corp and from watching good players. Not from other Aces. No need to reserve T3 for learning teamplay, most still dont know a thing about in T5
