I would LOVE to see two or more corporations duke it out on a single Invasion server! It could be organized here with time and whatnot, and if pilots came directly from flight, rewards -might- be obtained! It just seems like a fun little thing we could do at some point~

I love Invasion battles more than PVP. The freedom, the unexpectedness…! PVP is so predictable now: half the time you know which team will win just by looking at player’s corps/the ships they bring
Indeed. Also it is getting quite fun pretending to be AFK in PvP zones and waiting for dummies to attack. Xp

I always like the balance. I will grant you that PvP is becoming more predictable, and something should be done about that. However, I would love to see the player base in T5 rise significantly (with decent pilots, not all tier-rushers). That way the battles would be much larger. T3 battles are always very fun and pretty unpredictable, as the amount of players makes the battles not as easy to get an easy win, like the small battles in T5 make extremely easy.
This doesn’t fit on this topic, but it is somewhat related to mill’s comment. Maybe a solution to make PvP more random is stop showing all the ships they players have in their loadout, only show the one ship they have selected/are flying.

Reading about this for the first time. Is this still happening because this sounds incredible.
If not maybe we should start it up again. Seems like a nice precursor to what I’m speculating Dreadnought battles are going to be like. (except there will be Dreadnoughts obv.)

This was done as a test for a tournament concept. To see if it was feasible getting two/three full wings into the same sector. It was possible, but a bit faffy. However if you would like a wing battle in Invasion, contact me in-game and we can organise something. Friday/Sarurday evening (EU time) is usually when we have the most people online, but if we get CDF involved as well it could be very fun. Otherwise join us in our fight against the rise of the Comicsans Defense Force, and let’s make a wing together to fight them
