In alien fighter structure part it reads: can be received from participating events, completing missions , and during post battle trophy search. Now i have completed missions and fought countless numbers of battles already since newest expansion, using maxed ships and full 4 ship lineouts and done it in several different ranks, but i have yet to see any of these drop from anywhere. So im asking what is the problem?

They are unavailable until later in the event. And also generally anything outside of manufacturing parts like silicon and graphite, you will not be able to get it in loot.
