Ace question, but why am I fighting against bots?

Hey guys,

 

First time poster here. Just wanted to ask: so I recently got into Star Conflict and it’s been good so far, enjoying the gameplay and it works on my ***** laptop :slight_smile:

 

But whenever I go on PvP, I get a full team, but I’m only fighting against bots. How come?

 

Do I need to be a higher tier to fight against real people?
