I laid most of my commands on buttons like shift, wsda etc. on the left side of me keyboard. Unluckily, sometimes i seem to happen on a combination of buttons which results in my computer no longer obeying my commands in SC, but instead opening all kind of programms and stuff (Windos media player, desktop, command console usw.) insantly going to windows, and not executing the comand in game, which leads to me be rather helpless in fight, since i can only use mouse. Anybody know which combination this could be?
I’ve never dealt with this problem personally, but it sounds like your windows key is stuck down or something. No windows keyboard shortcuts (sans alt+f4 and ctrl+alt+del) that I know of actually work while playing a game.
The windows key is jammed. Press it repeatedly to try to unjam it.
Win key + W is start menu
Win + A is notifications
Win + D is show desktop
Win + R is run command
Win + E is file explorer.
Efefay is right. Win key commands work when game is in windowed mode. You can disable it by registry key http://support.microsoft.com/kb/216893 or using third party keyboard customizing programs like SharpKeys. Also edit that frustrating little function that I cant remember name when you press Shift quickly 5 times.
