About no more seeds

Hello,
regarding the seed chips that no one has anymore except in PVE…
If only you had made sure that they weren’t 99% bad…
but the proportion of good ones is still the same, meaning that, now,
the chances of getting an excellent one are 0…
Furthermore, as I already said on your Discord, it’s totally unfair
to new players who have no chance of getting any.
And finally, the advantage of being able to farm pointless seeds in open
game is that they allowed us to upgrade the rare good seeds we
were lucky enough to loot to mk5…what should we do now? Use the other
resources that are already 300% in demand??
Furthermore, before, once the missions were completed, we had an incentive
to go farming in open game… now??? there’s nothing left to do there. Nothing left to do after 1 hour 30 minutes of play. So let’s disconnect…
If I understand correctly, the only ones happy about the disappearance of seed chips are PvP players? But what does that have to do with them since they don’t work in PvP??
Ultimately, skirmishes, PvE, and farming in open world are completely stripped of a large part of their appeal… PvP remains. Not everyone plays.
So why make it possible to obtain seed chips, and why not simply remove all seeds for ALL players, at the point where you’re at?
You want people to PAY to get what used to cost us nothing but time and farming? Aren’t you tired of boring us with your new ships every 80 days, which have been bringing in phenomenal sums of money for several years? It’s never enough, is it? You also had to disgust the people who were well-started and motivated with your game? If the old players, who no longer bring in much, leave the game, it doesn’t matter, you target the new players. But eventually, everyone will leave the game because the new players will never be able to do what others can do with the seed chips they have… this is just my opinion… And by the way, tell me, is the end of seed chips for the Russians too?

Hello,
Exactly, that’s the reason I quit a while ago. The game was an interesting one years ago. Until, as SheenShade wrote in detail, the extras developed for the game disappeared without a trace. Who needs so many ships when the warehouse is already overflowing and you constantly have to check whether you have any inventory in the warehouse that you haven’t upgraded over hours, days, and months by farming resources, etc. I had the quiet hope that maybe things would get better and I’d find fun in the game again. What I’m reading here has shattered my last illusions of an interesting future. I really only miss the players I played with. I wish everyone all the best, and maybe we’ll meet again sometime, somewhere on the internet.
Sincerely,
and to those I know, best regards,

Hello Schutzeufelin, thank you for giving your opinion too  Similarly, I’m looking for another game where they don’t take away what we love for the benefit of PvP players only… I’ll find one  but what a shame! And similarly, I’ll miss all the people, like you, that I once met <3! :gift_heart: :frowning_with_open_mouth:

I miss the random, spontaneous teamwork players would show in Open Space when fighting off alien incursions, or the opposite - sudden fierce dogfights between players of different factions because the Empire, Federation, and Jericho being enemies and vying for territory had meaning to it. Players back when I started had faction loyalty and meeting someone on “your team” in the open world was always interesting, as was the cautious eyeing of a player from another faction whenever you spotted one.

Star Conflict is one of my “old favorites” and I still log on to fly around a bit now and then, but it is pretty much a dead game now. The current playercount on steam is around 100 people, and the standalone game stays under 1k players now.

I appreciate both you and SheenShade for being friendly and not toxic here. I too miss the golden days of the game. I’ve seldom played a game I was more excited to come back to from school (nowadays, from work) and wish it was still going strong.

I wish both of you the best, as well as any other veterans of the game here moving on.

Thanks for your contribution  I didn’t have the means to see how many people were left playing the game, but you confirm what I feared :frowning: At the same time, removing so many things essential to the soul of the game inevitably ends up driving away (far) too many people…I’m like you, I love this game, even though the devs seem to be doing everything they can to destroy it! They’ll succeed, I have no doubt about it :/. I wish you the best, in return! <3

Hello, and now that the seed chips in open space have disappeared, have you thought about how to rebuild reputation when we have lost it ?
If it’s just to recover it bit by bit by randomly encountering a Destroyer, it’s like leveling up the rares good seeds we have managed to find, in MK5; it’s likely to take a very, very; very long time…

What a lovely gift you’ve given us…
