The only thing that can actually kill me in situation like that aside web is collision if it works like you said.
Anomaly gets reduced by shields and diffusion shield as well.
I’m always up for a quick custom battle to confirm things one way or another if you want.

Do take into consideration the MBBs bypass an Engineer’s Barrier. I’m not sure on the Diffusion Shield, but I haven’t noticed any hp loss against that.
Feel free to test out w/e you can think of. For next 7-10 days my only internet connection (if any) is barely enough to post in forums after 1 or 2 retries.
