I’m a competitive player who have real life time limitations. I would like to find a Corp who can offer Voice chat such as TS and ventrilo, competition, fun and a place to enhance my playing experience. I’m looking for some good folk to blow up ships with. US central time.
My gaming experience includes many MMO. Most recently, World of Tanks.
Have you get any more information for corporations reading this?
For example;
Age
Online Times
DSR (Elo/Destroyed Ships Rating)
W/L Ratio
Average Kills / Battle, Average Assists / Battle
Number of PvP Victories
What Tier you fly
What your favourite classes are
These are some random bits and pieces - not all corporations hold equal value to all, or any of these but it will definitely help your chance in getting more responses.
Based on your age and statistics alone, those look pretty good for a relatively new player.
If you want my advice, I’d look at joining a relatively small/new casual/semi-competitive corporation for now, with the aim to develop your progress and experience and then once you reach t3 and have a little more experience under your belt apply to one of the more ‘well-known’ competitive corporations. If you’re interested in such a thing, of course. Otherwise there are also some excellent corporations with a more relaxed / casual approach to the game without any real restrictions on experience.
Hey mate. I just had a lurk on your in-game profile, I don’t wanna come across as presumptuous but considering you’re new I thought your stats are impressive!
If you are from the U.S, competitive and like to co-ordinate on TS, I think NASA would suit you well.
However the majority or all of NASA pilots are Tier 3+ I believe mostly flying T4+. (T3/4 get matched together a lot at the mo’ anyway)
I’m not sure how long it takes to get out of the T2 matchmaking pool these days, but it’s worth considering.
Not at all to imply you shouldn’t check out other corps, too - in the Corporation Tab at the top of the screen you can access a window that allows you to view n cross reference different corp “scores” however I’m not entirely sure how much of an accurate representation these give in regards to quantity/quality, I think Iridium is pretty good for gauging a corp’s overall activity.
You could always find a corp (if there are still any) that farms T2, I don’t think those corps have a particularly positive ‘reputation’ anyway, so nothing to commit to, but it would speed up the early parts of the game.

And Steel Marauders is one such casual corporation. Always enough of us around for a T2 squad most times during the day.
Mature, laid back - we don’t take things too seriously which is both a plus and minus point depending on what you’re looking for in a Corp.
You can PM us here on the forum if you have any questions or go right ahead and drop an application over at our website:
My goal is to get out of the T2 as soon as I can. I should be able to move into T3 in a few days depending on available playing time.
My ideal corp would be one who accepts my lack of playing time but value what little I can bring regardless. I will be active in TS and will always fly in squads if available. I’m looking for an active community that will help me get better and grow as a pilot.
Thank you to those who have given me some good advice.
From what I gathered. I may be too inexperience nor have the right tier to join NASA. I would love the opportunity but understands that requirements may be too high for me.
The BURG welcomes new players. We have some casual as well as hard core players. We use Mumble comms, but do not require you to use them. You can read about us on this recruiting post [http://forum.star-conflict.com/index.php?/topic/21142-the-burg-is-recruiting/](< base_url >/index.php?/topic/21142-the-burg-is-recruiting/). I am in US central time and a few of use play within the hours of 9pm - 12am or later.
Me or our CEO, Catfish, loves to squad with newbies and train them. We can get you up to T3 in no time,
