Legion command is particularly concerned with maintaining its technological superiority. One of the main challenges was the need to replace the obsolete project ‘Iron Harpy’. After learning about the development of the Army project ‘Hydra’, Legion design bureau sped up work in this area, and in the end it produced a frigate that showed excellent results during tests. It was taken into service under callsign Invincible Legion GF-17 ‘Hydra 2’. Nevertheless, the frigate was quite expensive, so for a long time the Legion squadrons were made up of different ships.

Nice, but what tier ship is it ?
Somehow I had the feeling its a T2 or 3 ship, a reminer of my constant question, why every update revolves around T2/T3…
I’ve joined this game 7 months ago, I still see 3 secret projects and the same T4/T5 ships. Just like every game, after joining I wanted to rank up only to realize the higher Tiers are not well populated, we all know to get a match takes long to very long. I’ve seen very high level players playing lower tiers, for one or another reason, in majority to get a match. I’m not saying that lower tiers should be forgotten, that would discourage new players, but again instead off moving forward we are moving backwards
This is my personal opinion and my reply to the OP, one of the Star Conflict developers.
Several ships are in process atm, you will see more content in autumn.
Aliskosan isn’t a game’s developer, she is a Community Manager, they just wear the forum rank “Star Conflict Developer”.
It was “quite expensive”…really? REALLY? That ship costs about as much as a single T5 module xD
Thank you for the input OmegaFighter, however since you are not a game developer, I can only assume you are just speculating. Speculations that are not binding the game developers and/or publisher. I would like to take your bold statement as a fact but for now it is only an uncorfirmed speculation, no offense.
I am not aware whether the OP is or not SC developer, I speak off what I see here. That is not the issue of course but what I said in my earlier post, and that is for the developers/publisher to address.
I really don’t understand what you are talking about FromBeyond. The Hydra 2 has been in the game for years now. And the only t2/t3 ships that have been added in the past year have been the Achilles and the Hyena, and those were required to fill in “role holes” in the Empire and Federation t3 ship tree. So what is your exact question or remark?
And for info, the OP is not talking about a new ship or upcoming patch, but rather just adding a small amount of lore to the game, as well as giving us a beautiful 3D model of the ship.

Back in Beta the lore suggested this ship was around 400 years old IIRC. So it’s not expensive now, but it was when it was new.
The Hydra is still my favourite ship model in the game. I’ll always have a soft spot for the Hydra 2.

He’s a game translator, he’s seen (and translated) the game strings (which may contain a lot of info) that we will have in the future, he shouldn’t give such info though.

Cost doesn;t have to equate to currency all the time.
In this instance it could be referring to material resource and manpower.
“Just because I have the currency to make a table does not mean I have the resources to do so.”

You’re thinking of cost vs. price. Yes, they’re technically different things, but nobody outside of a technical conversation will bother making the distinction.

Hi FromBeyond!
You are right, we understand that not everything is perfect with queues right now. But I confirm that we are going to add more hi-ranked ships very soon. Also we are really fighting “queue” problem, and going to introduce something to help it greatly. We are going to try and test first, but we do really have exact plan to solve queue problem at all.
