Just a little fun. I was flying with a squad last night to see what these bubbles are all about and we ended up singing along to this whilst firing wildly around us.
The song is terrible (although the attractive girls are a redeeming feature) but the result was fairly hilarious. Gazillions of bubbles and balls of death everywhere.
Related anecdote: One of the WPK guys logged in without reading the patch notes, climbed in his interceptor and started flying around. First time he saw a bubble he linked this to many MMORPG’s and thought it was some sort of new way that Engineers can heal. So he decided to try and ‘catch’ the bubble. Suffice to say it wasn’t a friendly bubble and he’s a decent stick -> Poof.
Next moment a confused voice goes ‘huh, what? so this shizzle doesn’t heal then?’.
Moral: read the patch notes in a major release :facepalm:
