Wobbly/Drunk Interceptors

Just a quick question: how do you check your ping?

f11

p.s - CTRL trick does WORK !

Yeah, it gives for very nice fake spins. I first noticed that when I had that key set as push-to-talk, so it was annoying as hell to STOP steering away from 5 enemy ships ganging up on you and requesting assistance at the same time, lol

It isn’t that, I can sit still perfectly fine, it’s basically that the fine controls and tight spins that I used to do (and I see others doing CONSTANTLY), I cannot do. Because it overcompensates HARD for the turn. It basically attempts to turn too hard when I attempt a high-speed turn, overshoots, attempts to correct, overshoots, THEN it rights itself.

The problem is gone for me now

it’s off and on for me. check server pop Arqueiro. I wobbles for me only when there are > 1000 people online. Is it same for you ?

Getting really frickin’ tired of this, makes my favorite ship unflyable. FIX YOUR SERVERS. Christ…

I can’t use microwarp, plasma arcs, any weapons, missiles or rockets because of this. Before all the patching, Inty’s were perfect. They flew like they should’ve and had no control issues and now they are all but useless.

It is related to high ping rates. Custom games played with bots have me at around 30~ or so ping. Pingtests around my state range from 20 to 100 at maximum, however with the servers I connect to in Star Conflict, my ping averages 180~.

Where are these servers located anyways? This is terrible latency and it isn’t due to my ISP, it’s due to something else. Whether distance, connectivity or something else entirely.

Once again… fix your servers.

Server’s in Russia. Connection test showed there is one hop on the way there causing massive packet loss.

1400 players and all good for me, ping 150-270(yes, that is my normal but is playable)

Packet loss seems to be a big factor in this. When F11 shows my ping even up to 150 it’s quite playable, but even 1% packet loss and your ship control goes to pot.

300+ ping. Oh dear.

I find the 27fps to be far more scandalous…

We currently have connection points in:
Russia, Europe and USA.

Depending on which server the battle gets hosted it may lead to problems for some players.

I suggest a server preference system because there is one server ( I think the US) that gives 200 ping (good for Australian standards) and the other servers give 400 ping and make inty unplayable.

I understand this may cause longer matchmaking time but it will be nice to have this option and let the player decide if they want lagless gameplay or short wait time.

I’m from the philippines, where anything below 300ping is manageable, i get drunken inty syndrome once it hits 300+.

I keep getting tossed into an RU/EU hosted random battle.

Here’s a Ping plotter SS of a trial trace i did towards the main node.

It’s that one, #15 the first one going into Russia. I hope it melts one day.
