Which T3 Fighter to get?

And thats bullshit. But bullshit happens. Jerry Commands just cant take a beating well, devs are playing Empire it seems.

But really, its so interesting that many mainline ships are inferior to the sideline counterpart (like the emp Command > jerry Command, emp Engie > fed Engie, fed Recon > emp Recon, jerry LRF > emp LRF). Interesting, and annoying.

I can’t say i am with you on this one, my point in Jericho vs Empire command was based on simple fact that Jericho tanks with shield and shield tanking is inferior to hull or mobility. Roles that you compared aren’t necessary better or worse, they are distinguishably different to produce different game-play and a behaviour on a battle field.

Empire command >Jericho - due to tanking mechanics

Empire Engineer better than Federation only due to low size of games in T4-T5, when games hit 8v8+ mark Feds engineers shine

Fed Recon =/= Empire Recon those are 2 totally different ships, almost 2 different roles.

Same goes for LRFs in higher tiers, i would even say Empire is better due to much solid tanking and way more reliable special ability than a torp.

Styx seems just as good in large games as long as you dont lower its speed too much

I never said empire gonna get worse in large matches :)) what i am saying is that in large scale games federation becomes viable due to its mobility perks, but in lower size matches empire is overwhelmingly better.

True that

We still have 1 problem

No Rank 9 Federation Engineer until you buy the premium Alligator Mk III, which can compete with the Styx.

True, Federation Engineers start to shine starting from That prem Engineer and upwards in tiers

Hey, dont speak ill of phobos. Thats a great ship, if you play with lazors from a safe distance you can cause a lot of havoc. But really, if you jump into close action you die almost instantly.

Can we bring back downvotes?

then why do i hear only about the naga in squads?

then why do i hear only about the naga in squads?

Because flying the Grizzly, the Gizzly M, the Osprey then the T-Rex is not an easy thing compare to the styx / Garm / Minautor / Naga.

The Gameplay is harder. You can’t just tank dammages and wait.

That could be applied to all Empire ships.

then why do i hear only about the naga in squads?

And we all know how big are those t5 matches

then why do i hear only about the naga in squads?

20% effect bonus and because its an empire engi

in t5 its the only engineer with effect bonus

both? I’m pretty much a Newb, really have no idea how to build this ship properly.

First and foremost, work on your energy reserves. The greater your total energy volume is, the better. A lot of the Command Fighter’s tank is from its Diffusion Shield, which eats up energy like a xxxxx in a hairy situation. In that light, you may also want good energy regeneration.

For actives, you can ditch the Aegis System, since the Prometheus, being an Imperial fighter (and thus made of hull tank), won’t get much mileage from shield tanking. The Valkyrie System is always welcome, since it allows your team to pour on the damage, and then you can add one or two self-repair modules. You can add the Gravi-Scanner if you want, but I’m kinda mixed about it. Additional speed for your team can be nice, though.
