Tackle them using gravi beam and slowdowns, eat 75% of shields and send a missile. CovOps can do tons of damage but are super squishy without EB.

Emergency Barrier is good to avoid onehits but not required.
My Eagle-B survives also almost each thing and has no EB.

its pretty hard when they overdrive + engine overcharge back thru their entire team back to spawn

Since I know exactly they will do that, my counter measure is silently dock my ship on their lrf butt, arc them and they won’t be able to reverse back since I’m blocking them with my ship, then they will eat their own mine field as well while I arc+orion to death, Then get out while eb is active. I do like lrf with mines than torp since they just speed up their own death. Works most of the time unless the lrf is moving around while arcing, that makes it hard to actually block their way. Some high rating ppl rage quit after I brake their first lrf ship ._.

No. It sounds nice in written form, but against a good Covert Ops pilot it’s useless. If you make minefield he’s not coming close, he’s just plasma torpedo you into death + orion pulse laser. Or you can kill him, but you also die by your own minefield/torpedo. That’s my personal experience. :fed013:
I prefer double ECM, or ECM+Tackler tactics, it’s really effective. EM torpedoes are also good if you have a big EM resistance and you are almost full. And what I noticed, if you close to guard or you just have some support around you, Cov-ops are not trying.
Maybe I’m wrong, but that’s my opinion.
And if you meet with YeahAlex, only thing what can help is praying.

I prefer tillo’s long range frig method where i just randomly explode to his disintegrator at some point during the match. this way I feel like I died to skill instead of troll

Slowdown, eat 75% shields and send kinetic rocket, works most of time. If Fed8 implant seen, cloak, wait a little, repeat. Don’t underestimate powah of fed tackler! (just dont try pursue by all costs like idiot, keep distance.)

Someone sneaks from behind & activate all modules that i can’t jump.
Instead of going out of disintegrator mode i will use the advantage that i can shoot in any direction and just let this parasite on my ship making boom with weapon overcharge.
If they move around you it’s not easy to snipe them, but they deal less damage, but possible. If they are stay at one position they are dead.
If you want to be sure that your opponent LRF explodes, whoever it is…
Try ECM with Kinetic missile spam setup & Thermal resistance. (Storm Viking is best for this…)
You can’t kill a pro sniper with a fed tackler except he is low life or sleeping.
