T5 would be great!
They are White, Black and Asian!
Multicultural…
as I said on twitch id like to see a free for all tournament in t2 open to anyone not just corps I find t2 always has good bust ups, know way of knowing who is going to win.
I thinking something along those line, would love to something everyone can do,and get in those not in corps…

we may also see a mad scramble from the corps to sign up undiscovered talent,I have seen lots of players who just play t2 PvP,Its a kick in the pants when a random player with no corp takes you out from nowhere.
So much fun was had today! Thanks everyone for either staying up late or getting up early to pull this off. Can’t wait for the next one.
Was really fun! Even the games where we got slaughtered
And dat Triple Particle Purge, r4ge, awesome. Never died that fancy before.
I think considering the actual size of the tournament, and that it was the first coming from the community, I would call this a success.
My view of the UnderGround Tournament Final

Thanks for the vid, I’d say get some epic music on there but then we wouldn’t hear the awesome commentating! I loved it, it was almost like watching professional sport on TV!
And dat Triple Particle Purge, r4ge
Anyone get a video of that? I wanna see!!!
I think for the next tourney it will be beneficial to have clear statement in rule set: is it allowed or not to change ships and ship loadouts when the series of 2 teams has started.
I personally think that it would be more “tactical” if it is allowed to change ships and loadouts only between series and not after both team saw their opponents. That would create a bigger stress on tactical preps between games
A suggestion for the next tournament is to have a larger variety of maps.
Playing 10 matches back to back on 1 map is quite tiresome.

i got a good shot on a stream see if i can feature it for you…
LOL… Shadow! love that quote

They could do 2 maps
Round 1 and Round 2 could be done on 1st map
And all succeeding rounds onwards on a 2nd map
This way teams meeting each other a second time wouldn’t necessarily see a repeat performance as a different map can introduce new variables to the same matchup.

And also clear rules on DCs. We already had some unnecessary drama cuz of it.
Otherwise, compared to the size of the tourney, it was much more smooth than the previous, official tourney. So great job guys!
I listened in on the streaming, there was some actual commentary of the games, especially when double commentators, shy and sparse, but it’s a start. Too much talk about X is attacked, which everyone sees, and too few about what cooldowns were used on whom, what made it possible to separate that engie, why is that gunship still alive etc.
Anyone get a video of that? I wanna see!!!
yeah i also got it… from my perspective
going to edit together something i guess during week.

Somebody, post link to video in this top, please. Tommorow, may be, i ll post my first person video. But without comments, cos u dont know russian
and i use too many bad words.
And finely: PANDAZ DA BEEEST!!!
I can’t wait to see that video ;)
Also, suggestion. To make it more fair, people should sign up with a ship roster, with exact modules, which could not be changed while in the tourney. Somehow.
I prefer an open tournament where u just sign up your CORP , without giving specific names and so on … even with giving all the details , thats kinda like cheating … i dont wanne know what ship your bringing nor what modules u have … coz that leaves out all the fun !!! and i like switching ships coz every battle is difrent and that gives room for an more open tactical battle… where’s the fun in a battle if u know what ships / modules / who is it that plays … i mean -_-…

Nobody said the contestants can know it. But it would disallow some shady tacticizing.
Imagine: A team sees B team’s loadout, they switch, now B sees A, they switch too, and so on, until one of them feels it too awkward to exit the custom battle again (may happen at first exchange).
You have 3 ships to have the tactical freedom, don’t overdo it.

mh well if thows corps wud start doing that … they both lose from that second on , and get disqualified in my eye’s … but yeah u got a point .
