Do we have a rough estimate of when the patch officially introducing destroyers to gameplay will launch? My guess is that it’s at the end of these special events? I’m curious how many weapons they’ll have. The video shows what appears to be 4, plus a launcher on the keel area?

Yep, average interceptor player won’t experience big problems against destroyer. But don’t forget that game is not about 1vs1 battles, destroyers have their role and ceptors have their own. As i said they won’t be overpowered.

I don’t think this game needed yet another “currency”. Making Destroyers use Neodium AND Monocrystals feels overkill, especially as I’m expecting Neodium to be much harder to get. No doubt it’ll also be like Monocrystals - no 100% certain way to buy the stuff with GS, so you can potentially waste a lot of money on useless junk.

Read the description of neodium… “Can be found next to asteroids in attacked sectors or purchased as parts of a bundle”

No way you are refering to ‘team play’. In this game?:stuck_out_tongue: I must have missed something, Last time i checked you removed squadplay from all tiers thus destroying team play. It is every man of woman for him/herself now, no tactics, no squads, no team. It s clearly the direction you were aiming for. And dont start with ‘but the leauges’, thats only a weak replacement.

Which weapon is stronger for frigates  ? Heavy blaster or mass driver ? ( PvE )

For LRF , is coil mortal still the best weapon ?

Best PvE weapon for Dps is Heavy Blaster, for splash damage I’d rather choose Coil Mortar.

For LRF, in PvE, both Heavy Blaster and Coil Mortar again depending on mission if you need dps or splash damage. In PvP, definitely not.

I agree on everything, but Mass driver is an awesome weapon for PVE: it can be easily builded to have slightly inferior dps than a full crit beam cannon (really strong) and the high projectile speed and aim assist makes this weapon very easy to aim. It is very good for strafing manoeuvres of bots (easy to keep hitting them after they try to dodge) and its particularly good for weak ships like the ones you find at captured dreadnought or blackwood, where a “bot killing spree” can be easily acomplished. You can achieve somewhat similar effectiveness than coils for clustered ships (coils are still the supreme weapon for clusters), but do much better for spreaded enemies (more often to see). Its accurate with decent dmg, unlike heavy blaster that looses its effectivenes at mid ranges after sustained fire. Its a middle way between coils and heavy blasters.

Go join the daily tournaments that are happening right now and you’ll see plenty of teams, as a solo player who’s experiencing the horrendous matchmaking for several tournaments now already i can attest to that.

Pvp I said, not tournaments wich are only in the weekend on certain fixed hours( and now exceptionaly in the week for holiday). Point is that squadplay is dead.

 

ps: Russian servers are still laggy as hell. I d love to read an update on that in future patch notes

those are fought between “castles” with pve elements and remain relatively static. While it fits the theme of my argument it is not a primary play staple for the community.  As ships in regular play get bigger their playgrounds will get larger and smaller ships will need to be faster to both close dangerous gaps and reach objectives within the ten minutes or so of round time we have to play them.

I am not saying they aren’t, nor i am saying that they are, i am mere curios what is the ground to be able to blame something so specifically and so freely?

We have a special thread for these issues. Btw,  nothing has been changed with servers for last month.

It has been done cause some players abuse it to watch who is playing leagues now. We also received a lot of negative feedback about this abusing (on russian and english forums) it and decided to react.

 

People misusing cars and phones? Let’s remove those altogether!
