Ship control - thread

They introduced a more realistic and smoother movement, more “physically” realistic, that’s why you feel it like a “boat” but I don’t think it is much of an issue in expert camera, right?

General camera looks like the one everyone was complaining about before.

Not really king, general mode looks ike the turret mode we have before patch but sometime it happens what i already said about pressing boost and camera moving form left to righ and left again ecc till u stop pressing boost and wait for it to be aligned to the ship…This enever happened before last patch and indeed now it doesn’t happen each time you press boost… I think that the best way to solve this ( in general mode ) is just making firstly the camera being well aligned to the back of the ship when you press boost, and then slightly change camera orientation when you cahnge direction once the ship increased speed :wink:

This will make the camera work in a natural way following the will of the player, wich is first increase the speed and move away in a a safer position (camera and ship point the same direction with camera stick during acceleration) then (after certain time that need to be well balanced (maybe 2-3 secs on fast ships, more on slower ones, definetly depending on ship’s acceleration) let’s see what’s happening aorund, letting camera changing orientation the way it usually does in general mode (With camera pointing different direction form ship’s one, even pressing boost)
