next time put up a t5 one, i know you have them.
The one I played against you yesterday ? Let me look for it, if I find it I will upload it

-_- i think its just that im nervous or anticipated or something cuz things that involve accurate shots are just not for me gauss cannon, ion emmiter, beam cannon, shrapnel cannon, pulse laser… I keep missing or i cant lock on for long enough to do max damage
Adapting your shot, where you aim, taking into consideration the latency and your projectile speed can be tricky to play gauss perfectly. With a 150 m/s ping and a +/-8000 m/s projectile speed, I usualy aim just a liltle bit ahead of the prevention marker. The lower the projectile speed, the longer you will have to aim ahead of the prevention marker. When playing with a 50-60 m/s ping, I can usualy aim directly at the prevention marker and hit almost every time.

Thats a good tip to hold a little bit more ahead when playing with high ping. Btw ping is ms and not meter per second, although the lag sometimes feels that way. :)wt
Yep your right, ms = milisecond and m/s = meter per second… My mistake lol

I’ll have to try that. Since I refitted my Deagle to gauss, it really feels like a “Deagle” My main difference is in having more ceptor / shield implants, I ditched the Overcharge for another multipurpose (otherwise my hull tank is underpowered), and I use a Horizon.
Coming from acceleration coil positrons, it didn’t take me long to adjust, I still find it helpful to actually aim slightly behind the prevention marker on smaller fast moving targets, since it hits them while moving better; I find this fit amazing, even if Bubbles are also a good choice on the Deagle.

Good thing about DE is that no matter which weapon you fit in, it remains competitive if the build is right. I have tested it with rails, bubbles and ions. So far I prefer rails, but ions are close behind.
I’m not a great fan of bubbles in imperial gunships. I think they are more suited for fed gunships.

my ping is usually not a problem, its my aim lol ive seen people snipe with ions at 4000m range doing max dmg but i have trouble even at 2000m while im following the target, my hand always slips and moves away so im like, where are u going hand? i must kill that wolf-m!-_- u get the idea

Have you ever considered trying to play with the DPI setting on your mouse (If available on your mouse) ? Take my self as an exemple, I usualy prefer a slower movement sensitivity so most of the time I lower that setting and boost the DPI of the mouse. It make the mouse feel more “precise”.
You should keep your mouse DPI near its max all the time and only adjust the sensitivity in-game. If you lower your mouse DPI past a certain point, it will not always register small movements.

Wasn’t it called “polling rate” of some sort - how many reads mouse does per seconds - this one directly effect smoothness, same way as FPS on the screen?
And finnaly we came to the crucial point… the MOUSE…
A good one makes the difference…so maybe here some tips on very good mouses u can find around…
Razer Abyssus
Razer death Adder
Cooler master Spawn (maybe not avaible anymore)
Cooler master Recon (The one i’m using, superb!)
Logitech G400
Theese are all nealry perfect mouses with bugless sensors
Really wish to know takamina mouse configuration…
At moment i’m on 1200 dpi with 1/3 sensitivity in game…
Another really weird annoyng things is that high sensitivity in game settings really seems to affect the ship mobility…I thik this could be a bug…This is very noticeble playng with mouse sensitivity while flying intercptors… High sensitivity makes he ship much more responsive but aiming is really difficault (i suppose this is takamina style). Lowering sensitivity makes interceptor less agile, litterally less mobility…So weird…

I’m using a roccat Kova+ with 3200 DPI and sensitivity of 3 in the Star conflict profile. It also allows to change DPI in game in case you want to (like sniper mode or so) but I’m not using it, but maybe having a 1600 DPI and sensitivity 4 mode for flying fast ceptors would be good. I have to try that.
For standard windows operation I use 1600 DPI, and sensitivity of 4.

That depends what you get use to. I have 1/2 mouse sensitivity in profile and 2500DPI on mouse but when I have to dodge a lot in ceptor I’m useing 3600DPI

NIce info here lol I know tillo is agood pilot
And roccat kova + is a good moue, and ofc optical one ( i was considering it b4 buyng Recon)
Well i can store up to 4 profiles in my Recon.
-So one is for windows (there i can switch different dpi by 2 of the 4 mouse side buttons (great when u r working in 2d or 3d applications))
-One is for standard playing in star conflict with 1200 dpi and 1/3 sensitivity
-Another one is for sniping (for ions etc…)
-And now i’m going to try a 3200 dpi profile just for ceptors… lets’ see
Another thing is that i can activate all of the 4 active modules directly by the 4 Recon mouse side bottons lol
And all of this just to explain waht a good mouse can do lol
But…but my mouse sensitivity is fine… Mine is like 80% sesitivity anyhing lower than that and ill have to move my mouse across the whole table juust to turn my ship
Wasn’t it called “polling rate” of some sort - how many reads mouse does per seconds - this one directly effect smoothness, same way as FPS on the screen?
Polling rate is how often the mouse communicates to the computer. Most “gaming” mice have a 1000 Mhz polling rate if wired (there are a few wireless ones as well). Otherwise, 500-150 are the general rates that I have seen.
I use a G602 at 2500 DPI and very low in-game mouse sensitivity. Best mouse I ever had and I had many (G7, G9, Death Adder, G400, G500, G602 and all kind of weird brand). I also found that Logitech make the best product quality wise and Razer is the worst and cheapest product you can find out there. They are really, really cheap and I am not buying their product anymore, I got my lessons over the years. I owned all kind of product ranging from headset, keyboard to mouse and mouse pad and their product never had the same quality feel as Logitech and never lasted very long.
I use the G700 myself. I also keep an old DeathAdder nearby, as I find it to be more comfortable than my G700.
