Ryzen' Shine ppl :Đ

AAh it’s because you guys are on yo phonez, in that case please reply via stationary desktop computers to avoid this multi answer mess ![:D](<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/006j.png “:D”)

Ok so now Ryzen everywhere, the hype is real. I really like to see some real benchmarks not only the ones what AMD prepared.
Personally I have too many bad experience with AMD CPUs and Radeon GPUs and have good with Nvidia and Intel so until they don’t give me some good reason to change I won’t take the risk to buy anything from AMD again. But I would welcome good competitors what maybe help to lower the prices.

It’s weird since i had it the other way around lol nvidia always broke/unstable and intel was so-so in most cases for me and amd cpu’s gave a helluva power for a small price and radeon cards worked even underwater for me xD

[@Entersprite](< base_url >/index.php?/profile/242779-entersprite/) can tell his story about his last radeon ![:D](<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/006j.png “:D”) I was lucky I bought my GTX760 after he get gird of his radeon and changed it to a 780.
I still have an AMD build what I bought from my friend. It was very cheap (FXwhatever + radeon whatever) so I couldn’t say no for that offer, but at the end I just changed it to a 3750 + GTX760 because of stability issues.
But no matter intel or amd, nvidia or ati, my best pc was my Amiga 1200 no pc could can beat that. ![:D](<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/006j.png “:D”)

LoL, amiga, my best experience was when i got the x1650 pro club3d graphics card, when i played my last nfs game ever (prostreet, what a joke that was). I wanted to go for a r9 <any> card last year but went backwards and got a cheap 7950 radeon iceQ edition, it’s still rockin’ today.

Those bench screens are unconfirmed. Expect a more realistic 5/10% perf. advantage in ST for kabylake (mostly 'cause higher freq.). MT instead, amd have quite an advantage.

Quick note on: amd reliability-overheatings, driver issues, nvidia bad colors, intel compilers “shills” and so on.

^bs^

90℅ of the time it’s not an “hardware error”.

Edit: lemme make an example. Guy named Pluto always heard in his life sfuffs like this from the guys he hang with: this company X makes bad stuff, company Y instead makes totally reliable products.

So one day Pluto purchase an expensive stuff from the X company for whatever reason.

Well, for every single little problem occuring to his config, Pluto will always starting thinking: it’s X company to blame! Even if outlook doesn’t open his emails from granma. Damn X drivers!

Same opposite thing happens when Pluto purchase an Y product: ohhh look how fast my emails opens!

(meanwhile, wolrdwide, emails are opened at the same speed, but don’t tell that to Pluto, he will not believe you)

This is the only one I found that’s confirmed. I found 1800x on chart but not 1700/1700x.

Review for AMD Ryzen 1800x and 1700/1700x are out. Looks like too much hype, not even 1800x can compete with Intel 7700k or even 6700k for all tested games and benchmarks, let along 1700 and 1700x.

It doesn’t have to compete with its price lol, it should be the other way around xD

but like both price and performance are inferior ._. I wouldn’t buy it even if I’m AMD fanboi…

I never saw anyone comparing the 6900k lower results against a 7700k or a 6700K in games, and say: oh that 1000$ 6900k is a fraud.

You need to compare it to the 6900k… Once you focus on it: check the price difference.

Yeah, in 2018.

But why would I compare it to 6900k when there’s cheaper, better Intel processor out there >.> It’s like comparing a new AMD video card with Maxwell Titan X instead of 1080 TI…

You are comparing oranges with apples, there are no better cpus apart 6950k (1500$) for workstations. A 7700k for heavy rendering, high virtualizazion, server’stuffs, heavy calculations is not even competing with multiple cores cpu. Stop comparing them, gaming is for high frequenzies, something that nor intel or amd will achieve very soon on an 8 cores. What if i tolds you that servers cpu that are sold for thousand of dollars have way lower frequencies than an intel pentium or i3, and 'cause of thath they have sh**y game perf? Does make them a fail? No… More cores needed fordifferent stuffs than gamings means necesseraly less frequenzies. That means less perf in games, but not less value.

O.o an entire lineup of 1 million cpus sold in less then one week and you are watching at gaming 1080 performance?

Who is so damn stupid to spend 500$ just to play at 1080p???

Why IT market went dumb like this that we are even talkin about? 6900k performance with 8 cores 16 thread at half the price and we are still talking about gaming performance against a factory overcloked 4 cores made for gaming? Really?

When 220€ ryzen1600x with the same performance as the 1800x in games will came out in april, you will still claim for a fail even if you get just - 10%  performance in gta v, a game from 2013 for 1\3 the price than a 7700k?

You know not everything rotate trough 1080 gaming top of performance?)

Chill guys, the thing is gunning for workstation cpu’s and talking about just gaming makes not much sense. The fact is you get a very good cpu that is priced decently, the pricetag wins everytime no matter the performance since the same thing the other manufacturer is pricing double at least. Unless you don’t mind money spending, i see no point buying the same thing but double the price, and then there is that mobo part and other technicalities that go even further into the unnecessary.

Im just glad that there is a chance of normal pricing, i just hope it goes well because intel prices are bananas at best no matter what they offer with it. It’s sometimes just that simple.
