My statistics page in-game is incorrect It reset itself several years ago for some reason. I also grind smartly and only play pvp when I want to play, not to grind because only an imbecile brings an unprepared ship into pvp with the desire to win. That’s not to say I wouldn’t play low synergy ships in pvp, just that either I’m playing for fun or confident the ship is prepared enough. I am always right in this regard. Usually I would just grind ships in pve unless they were completely the wrong type like tackler or interceptor past a certain difficulty threshold because the money was much better than pve, but I haven’t leveled a ship line since long before the transition from tiers to ranks. I’m quite satisified with gunships but destroyers look like something I’ll need to grind materials for out of necessity. I once played this game with a friend I had invited to the game, and he complained constantly of premium ships with gauss cannons one shotting him at tier 2, and then quit for a better game. I managed to dodge this cancer with my favorite ship lines somehow and simply can not imagine how new players stay interested in this game with what they have to face in the beginning. But, as I’ve already invested time and money I can’t entirely write this game off because the concept is nice and even if the english speaking community is one of the worst I’ve seen in comparison to its size, and even though the game is heading in a direction that speaks for the end of the traditional arena style play I’ve enjoyed thus far, every now and then the developer team does something fun and those are the kinds of things I look forward to. Even if they really like to milk their community with the illusion of exclusivity on some things. That can get annoying but they are a business and need to make money.
