So instead of removing it, balance it! Make it disable EM scattering, and give it a slight warmup like the recon micro-warp.
Don’t go destroying a module that has finally encouraged several LRF pilots to go for objectives instead of camping and letting their team die.

Give it 20s more cooldown and make it take a few seconds to fire. Bam.

Commands and Gunships are near then as “tanky” as them, but are much much much faster. They also have near then the same firepower.
with the overdrive nerf, burst fire power is nowhere near as much as it was. when i hop into my trollberus coil mortar crit build i deal at least x2 damage constantly to everything, drop mines or launch an em torp, warp out then continue to hold the fire button. doesn’t feel right…

Then I looked in the direction the graphics told me and I found it while it had EM on within 6 or so seconds. Then I launched my torp and I had it. I don’t know why you guys think RT+EM is OP but I still agree that RT should break EM.
On another occasion I saw Tillo’s waty use RT on spectator and I saw how fast the cooldown was. That seriously needs to lengthen.
I’m really fed up of LRF with RT. More and more games are just being LRF spam with RT, cloak and mark 5 beams. Good job. I’m taking a break until it is fixed.

for everyone not in a lrf it is a different story. most weapons do not have 5km+ range

The only LRF without RT are the bots (and Efefay xD). Don’t forget the A1MA covops though.
