Only 2? My old phone lasted a week easily…Damn smartphones suck batteries dry like crazy…
Well, it really depends, With MY usage, 2 days would be welcomed. But if you swap out or take out useless modules, then you can theoretically “Make” the phone last a week, imagine if you put 2 10000Mw batterys in there. Jesus, that thing will NEVER need to charged.
Yeah mine on idle doesn’t last longer than 4-5 days… On use, some hours, depending on app and heat (anyone burnt himself due to heat yet? xd ). The other ‘lesser’ phone i use only in ‘dangerous situations’ lasts 2 freakin weeks on idle!
What this guy forgot to put in the video is a casing for the phone, which will be needed regardlessly or all the pieces on it will go off flying when you drop it by accident.
What’s funny is that i never wanted this phone. Even now barely using it, but the ‘maps’ app is too cool. For cross country to be able to see where all your team’s at any time you want in case people are scattered, far from each other or lost. I don’t like the fact that it’s UBER FRAIL so i’m taking it with me only on rare occasions when it’s about sports. I need a proper portable gps with walkie-talkie and team linking, not a fckin expensive smartphone
PS: weather forecast, satellite cloud picture and wind directions is also awesome
Same Astraal, if the old phones had todays features, I would love it Or if the new phones could actually take some damage and keep their battery alive…
Edit: Not to mention these new phones got so goddamn many problems always

I wish instead of racing for thinnest and lightest paper phone they incorporate battaries like this into power phones,
This is just like the computer industry invading the phone. There is all kinds of components in a PC, and system builders compete for the best stuff so YOU can choose them to put their part into your PC.
Nope. The technology is highly standardized and entirely covered by various patent pools. It’s nothing like the PC market which developed because the IBM PC was easily extensible and license free.

Im just stating how it could be a modular market. Hell, its like legos almost.
Also, Phones are literally pocket computers, and would LOVE to customize them in every way. (I would TOTALLY make a mini water colling system, why? Cause Im a nerd, THATS WHY)
Looks great, since I don’t use smartphone much, I use it most on check work email, ifunny, and phone calls, I get a free phone every 2 year with contract under ATT which is not bad, about $40 per month with 25% gov employee discount.
