1 1 3 3 1 allows you to have both adaptive and normal tank, at the same time. This is why I call it a cross between a Naga and a TRex. It is possible to fly like emp engi by strafing to dodge, but as soon as you see an inbound cov ops, accelerate and get those adaptives turned on. I believe this to be the most versatile play styule. However since there is only one engine slot, I would not recommend having more than one galvanised installed.
For the drones, I use the tanky ones (they repair half your shield when you pop them and survive a small missile attack)

I’ll give a printscreen when I get home
Indeed, having 3 shield and 3 hull will always give you the best tank, but having 2 engines (1 for veriner, and 1 for shared cooler with use of eclipse) would be very nice I’d think. That way you could put supernova ammo in and still be able to have a good firing time and deal dem deeps. Octopus has a crit damage bonus too iirc, so having another cpu if you want it to have a little more dps which is always nice. There are a ton of good ways to build it!
