I didnt know that leaving a game breaks the rules, would be nice if you point out to me where does it say that. Of course, if there is actually such term, might be best to leave this game

1 thing puzzles me, you said the dessies have been OP for 18 months, why havent they been “adjusted” a week, a month or even 3 months after they were released

Destros strength was justified for the high repair cost and ammo cost. One could fly a destro but losing it in battle one or even two times is a huge hit to credit gain. If devs plan to keep the nerf hammer over dessies and make it even with standard ships, ok, fine, but how about reducing repair costs and ammo costs to 1/3 of current price? If they are less powerful then they should be cheaper to maintain.

Although I agree with the huge rep costs and should be decreased even if the dessies will be buffed back to their previous state, cant even imagine further nerfs. Personally I’m at the verge of quitting this game due to the nerfs. Ive started playing SC nearly 4 months ago on a daily basis, yesterday was the 1st time I havent played and that not because was busy with something else but didnt feel like playing.
I also agree with your point, if the dessy player will lose 2 or more times the ship its a disaster, had a game that I lost nearly 500k credits. Some brought up an excuse for the speed nerfs, dessies should provide cover for the team from far. On other hand some “expert” said that the Cov Ops can easily destroy the dessy most probably because the ship was remotely isolated and the cov ops could easily attack it. Well, since the dessy should stay far which means in a remote location, other smaller ships would go ahead and counter in close the enemy team. I’m a bit lost with this contradictive approach, and that because their “suggestion” more or less serves trolling while it shouldnt.
The 1st thing that kills the game are toxic community members that have a single goal which is other than constructive suggestions and good player to player communication.

Aye! Saying “Buff my fav stuff to OP state again coz I dun’t wanna learn how to counter or play other class to be useful in gamemode” is healthy and constructive

Lets say each team is the half of a ball and the circular part faces the other team. In the frontal part you have interceptors, behind them fighters, and then frigates and destroyers. Of course this is a veeery rough approach from reality since each ship class and role can be highly customized, so you may see frigates in the front line, interceptors in the fighter line, etc. But despite all, the team is over a zone and shouldnt be very far from each other (this is how competitive teams play). In example: a damaged interceptor should be able to fall back and get heals from engineers. As you may know, destroyers arent very effective at really close range (with a few exceptions), so they work better at mid ranges mostly. This means you are often near teammates who can provide support to enemy ships who managed to get close to you, and also fire at enemies from certain distance (i would say 4km is a very nice distance for most weapons and mods). In most ships if you are isolated, you are screwed. Exceptions to that can be LRFs, recons or cov ops sneaking for lone targets, but that requires first of all skill.
Ive played a lot in destroyers and i really like them, however i havent entered the game lately. About the nerfs im really glad they finally nerfed the static shield, something i suggested to nerf (increasing CD, perhaps with charges like remote mine or reducing total health) since the first month T3 destroyers came out, because they granted a lot of extra survability to destroyers and made many weapons useless (non piercing/explosive weapons); fighting destroyer vs destroyer (1vs1) was really long and boring when spamming static shields, plus making the only decent weapon the halo launcher since it could bypass the static shields sometimes…meson cannon had most of its dps absorved and coilgun could not deal dmg at all. On the other hand im glad im not playing to witness the 2nd speed nerf.
