MM allows for +/- 1 destroyer on team’s, mm is not limiting and was not intended to limit total amount of destroyers in the game at this point.
T4 AND T5 are now full of destroyers. Even Leagues. So transformation is almost complete. Looks cool just few minutes ago we had a game 12vs12 - so more people are playing now, mighty battles of big ships shooting torpedoes from many kilometers, Halo projectiles mixing with coilgun rounds, different builds started to appear - NICE
. I wonder if we can have a little bigger ship of suppressor class - a cruiser? A battle cruiser? Or even - carrier (like cuts the respawn time in half). Add some heavy ordinance for inties/fighters - like unguided torpedo doing 60k dmg or something and it will be awesome

I want something that can kill destroyers but can be killed by everything else in a balanced way. Maybe some kind of anti-destroyer fighter.
Another possibility would be a special weapon, that charges for a certain amount of time and has high firepower, but can only hit very slow moving targets (although the speed of some destroyers being faster than frigates means this might not be a solution).
Maybe they could bring out a special super-supernova ammo for singularity cannon that increases its damage and slows it down further when locked onto a destroyer, but acts as a normal nova bubble when locked onto anything else… Collateral damage would force people away from their team’s destroyers.
Maybe it could even be made possible to plant bombs on the destroyers (they are big enough after all). The bombs would spawn at the spawnpoint of each team in all gamemodes and would have a negative influence while flying with it, for example reduced resistances, speed or being position being shown permanently to the enemy on the minimap.
Wow I’m impressed at myself!! :005j: Three constructive proposals, that are not just “remove them from PVP”!!! Now let’s see if these are considered, or just ignored like the majority of the suggestions section of the forum.
A deployable cruise engine rocket that you can attach to said destroyer and it blasts them off into space accelerating towards 700m/s for 30 seconds ;p Removing blows up all modules.
actually we have that kind of weapon already - EMP bomb from detonation. Just spawn the bomb somwhere, capture it, plant on destroyer - do 200k of damage (or whatever) - boom.
