well i got those befor fleet strength was implemented into the game, plus i have more than one that i can use on different ships, so it is 6-9% bonus for the ship synergy gain, it saves time in along run, plus those are exclusive now and you can not get those now
but can someone explain how Fed Engineers would operate in a random public match ?
I’m almost certain I cannot play it like I do with NAGA / Mino. What are the tactics behind Fed Engi ?
I think it was mentioned in another thread - one of us forum warriors made an observation that many fed frig pilots were more willing to use Adaptive Shield tank on Fed Engies than Fed Guards. You could go with that, then, as residente said, stay perpetually in motion.
As I have started down the road of being the support guy when I do fly T5 for the most part … I will have the Naga and the Mino…and at times the T-Rex
The Mino has more survivability than all 3. For me the key is the ability to support the team as the NAGA has a sweat bonus on the active modules.
Just as a example:
They are all full purple on the active modules so they are configured the same.
Mino Mass shield gen will go out 3100 miles and has a 207 Pts per sec heal
Naga Mass shield gen will go out 3100 miles and has a 262 Pts per sec heal
T-Rex Mass shield gen will go out 3100 miles and has a 225 Pts per sec heal
T-Rex is my speed demon for getting there as quickly as possible but there is no stopping to smell the roses or linger around or it becomes toast…or as said before stay perpetually in motion
As a comparison a MK1 shield will go out 2000 miles and has a 178 Pts per sec heal
yeah, it use to only reduce your own dmg, back when inties ram Jericho Frigates fro kills, since it did direct hull dmg. I cant remember exactly which patch changed it so it goes for both ships in a collision
