They don’t need to start with everything at once just throw out a little at a time and see how it goes. Just one small difference could be a total game changer.
there should be a gamemode that would only allow the original ships to be used, no destroyers, no ellydium ships. let the abusers fight each other, but let the ordinary players enjoy the normal gameplay.

I do recommend to quite the game before feeling that hanger and start playing something else, believe me it work

That is called custom battle, you are free to try it.
