Funny thing about this tournament is the name of it;

INTERCORPORATE

Results are wrong if this was INTERCORPORATE tournament.

I can see just four or five real corporations with real corporate members in it.

All others were fake like winners too.

-This is the first time a new weapon (with unique stats, not just a name) is given out, so clearly ‘tournaments like this’ aren’t arranged to give out new weapons, in theory only this one could have been.

-I don’t think the tournament administration have any particular relationships with the Deft corporation, and they came incredibly close to winning. So it isn’t just giving out guns to a few people, really anyone can earn this. If the devs want to give people unique guns they just let testers/friends use r16 ships in leagues/pvp weeks before they’re released - no need for a tournament.

I’m not new here, we had tournaments for resources when Thr’ga came out.

Just then the game had more Russian players and “organization” didn’t need English speaking corporations.

Don’t you remember when NINJA tournaments were played?

Wasn’t you on some team as well?

Also, tournaments were regular as far as I remember.

Of course there is some reward, but it’s been either cosmetic or just normal game currency.

What do English speaking corporations have to do with any of this? In any case there were more EN corporations competing in the past, they didn’t start to need more EN players now. They were surprised that more than just ITALY signed up for the tournament, and it’s good that this community is still a little alive.

If the issue is that the same people are winning all the tournaments, there is a simple solution: why don’t you try to win some.

Probably because that was the reason?

Don’t mean to stir up anything, but the rewards weren’t given out ONLY to the winning team, someone else already has them, including the ones from the first place.
