I saw you in-game and you’re pretty good at flying interceptors. I just wanted to added some info that may be useful for other players in T3:
Engineering: Use web and that +105% damage active module, then get closer than 300m and use your arc, pretty much you can bring down any engineering frigates, if not, just use nuke (in T3) or self-destuct when you’re about to die.
Command ship: Just watch out for mines when you’re dogfighting, keep a safe distance.
Guard frigate: Kinda hard to bring one down, but if you have 2 other interceptors going with you, no guard frigate captain can survive for their kamikaze playstyle.
Dammit Milf, your not supposed to give out trade secrets!
Just kidding. yeah, when 2 Covert Ops ships attack a single enemey you can take down a ship even if that ships is being healed.
I find a lot of this information very useful. I’ve only piloted an inty as long as I have had an experimental butter knife (plasma arc).

also. Its good to have people that your being wing man with to task them with marking out targets. When having a fast Covert ops ship next to you, you will always have that extra firepower to overcome alot of enemys

Thats a good tip, but my ping(180~260) is not good to use a plasma arc.

This is pretty much the reason you can’t kill engy frigates. The Plasma Arc is essential because it’s the only way you’ll do enough burst to kill an engy. Imho using the Plasma Arc/Camo combo to ambush slow or unsuspecting targets is a key part of flying your covops; if you never use the plasma arc you’re really missing out.

I doubt it. I gave you a build to play a “combat” recon, but tbh the only thing it has going for it that a covops doesn’t is spy drones. The other way to play your recon is Arpacolas’ way and go full support, take both spy drones and micro-locator and equip long range weapons. Spy drone good targets on cooldown, drop your micro-locator on beacons to prevent enemy cloaking and accept that you’ll never ever kill anything solo and assist by shooting what everyone else is shooting.
My only reason to no play recon is because the i not want spend more creditis in the ship tree(i have tha last ship of tree before the 0,8 update) and because i like the lasma web.
But i think recon ceptor is for recon(duuu) and sabotage.
Spy drones do a great job and both sabotage and recon: You and can break the cloak skill of tackler ships and covertops, and can sabotage the regeneraion rate of others ships. then your primary targets for this module is:
-Tackler: to prevent the cloak and run
-covert ops: to prevent the camoflage ninja atacks
-enginerig frigates:to break your regen, make he easy to kill ,stoping he from healing others ships.
The parasitic remulator is a good choice to sabotage, some enemies with high shield resistence and hel the total damage. the jericho ships have high shield , but when the shield runout even EMP damage can finish fast the hull. then your primary targets for this module is:
-Any shield tanker being atacked by you or your friends
The phase modulator is a must have, as you can cloak and run fron enemies or make sneak atacks. he deflect missiles too.
The locator is pure recon or protection. Puting a lcator near your friends or captan can prevent stealth ships caught you offguard. Puting he in mass of enemys can be usefull to mark tagets to allieds snipers frigates.
Well i think is only this, recon is not a primary combat ship, your role is help friends and give one or two shots in the process.
I dunno about using the web as added DPS, unless it’s like a special situation, y’know, a captain or the only engie in the area. It disables someone from connecting to beacons during its duration, and the web is a godsend when you got some inty/fighter spazzing out during its death throes trying to run away and just matrixing all incoming fire, love how that sucker will always hit and will pierce right through a frigging wall.
