Avg kills is proportional to tier you fly as well, especially now with discrepancy in a population, you can clock 10+kills in t2 every game on every role while in t5 you will struggle to get any high kills counts in a 3v3 game
I can tell skill from anyone based on the number of average kills in battle. He sucks…could use some tips and improvement.
I have an average kills per battle of 1.49. It used to be below 1.0 months ago. I’m not great at kill shots. At least I’m somewhat good at not feeding kills. That counts for something right?
Just had a combat recon match in T3. Captain picks Dagger. Captain survives. Enemy captain (Templar S) dies.
:salute: :salute: :salute:
What was the match size? I’ve noticed it can depend on the match size for if the best choice is an ECM, and because I get picked as captain frequently enough lately I’ve noticed some people just want to farm kills and ignore the captain. One match yesterday my team stayed together and pushed forward, etc. At one point they all died and had to trek across the map in frigates and fighters so I was almost alone at the front line. The enemy team didn’t attempt to get me. Being captain is getting safer and safer.

Can’t remember the exact number, but as far as I can remember it was at least 8v8… maybe 12v12? A healthy size.
In a 12v12 a frigate’s a poor choice, in a 3v3 it’s actually a good choice. In smaller matches the captain needs to be a part of the action, in larger matches he can safely stay safe.
