Free Corp. Tags for Corps created before they existed

I created a corporation back in February, before tags existed. Now that they are implemented, why must I pay 1000 GS for something I should have received at the creation of the corporation?

My corporation is called Solaris Order, and I wish for the tag to be SPO.

I hope we get that 1 freebie the first time around.

Hello

In the past the corp tags have been the first letters of the corp, but now the corp leader is able to choose any letters for the tag.

It’s not free and has never been “free”.
