Give me 6th stage, then we can stay on topic.
Koro: I wrote about domination not detonation.
About topic: What to write?
It would be nice to have the values displayed on the module itself instead of needing to test out how and what it do.

I see. To be honest, both modes could use more work.
How much time does the resistance effect stay for? I saw that if somebody attacks you, the green icon appears in the top area of a screen. but, then it disappeears. Does it mean that the resistance effect disappears as well? I mean, if it was 11 at the beginning, and then after receiving some damage I get, let’s say 22, then how much time do those 22 resistance points stay?

it will stay for 10 seconds after last dmg points received from that source

But what if an enemy hit you once, and 5 seconds later another enemy hit you once too.
After the second enemy hit you, will you have 22 resist for 10 seconds or 22 for 5 seconds then 11 for 5 seconds?

each enemy provides 1 buff charge and each buff has own 10 seconds counter.
So 22 for 5 sec and 11 for 5 sec variant. If both enemies manage to hit you within own 10 seconds timer, you will keep 22 buff
Boah this new information has more or less killed this plate for me.
I mean if the buff would stay at its max stats possible as long as someone damage you it would be nice but so…

Nah it is borderline OP
Galvanized gives 35 resist and 19% rotation malus if I remember correctly.
Crystal plates with only one player hitting you gives 24 resist. Considering you have no malus, it’s already nearly equals to Galvanized.
2 players, and you have those 35 resist without any malus.
3 and you get 46. And after this you win 22 resist per enemy.
It’s a must have on anything that tend to be focused, like engi, guards, or destroyers because when you are under attack, it’s nearly never by only one player.
My playstyle is around shield tanking not hull tanking. So crafting such a plate for nothing or scratches is worthless. I considered it for PvE/OS as there exist enough flies for a long time losing the shield over time, but if the max stacks resets to the least amount needed it’s of less use as improving direct defense/attack.

Well many fed ship have an hull slot that can be used to equip a crystal plate. It’s worth on all empires ship (especially interceptors), and most fed ships.
It’s only useless for jericho (and still, you can use it on guards) because your hull goes down in one second.
