We have been waiting for competitors for 20 minutes. you had to enter the room it training, not wait for invite. All main things was translated in english and told on stream.
Sorry if you couldn’t take part in this event. So the main idea is:
- you register
- then organizators make list, check online in game (if they can’t find player online, they delete him)
- then you should join the room and wait the fight
All members, who are missed, checked via PM before start. Also if you have any problems like these, please contact me in the game - Akaurl.
Sorry again.
i tried to join the room put it was password protected and no where in the english forum or in game or pm was the password given out i registered on the site and saw my name rego name was the same as in game was sitting in game and saw nothing there ether not the only one that had this problem
Yeah it happens no worries. Could you post the stream on the NA forums next time it would help out a bit. Also the way GANGNAM was wrecking everyone i don’t think that a lot of us would have stood a chance lol.
thats cool this is what you said first
Right, wait with one T3 fighter on you hangar.
if the bottom post had have been put up first then i would not have been so upset but not blaming anyone i think it was just bad communication on all party’s really i should have tried to message ppl in game

There was similar confusion among English speaking players in the last survivor event. There really is less information and discussion on the English forums about the events. I understand there is an unavoidable delay between when we find out about news; perhaps announcing it earlier overall would help people get organized and ask for information that is lacking.

If this was true, it would mean the event was VERY disorganized, especially since the event post does not mention a stream being available, and with information being translated live then there would be limited ability for English players to ask for clarification, especially if there was an error in translation. For example, while we all understand your post, the use of the word “main” in this instance deviates slightly from its usual connotation.
The activity of non-russian players in official events is so low, that i don’t see any sence of making english-speaking stream. We are not devs or smth like that. If you want to change something or help us - go ahead, PM me or Akaurl, show that foreign comunity is active too, find english-speaking streamer etc.

well as the host for an official event i hope this is not the way the non Russian community will be spoken about all the time very poor show i must say. if you wish to host an official event you must try and at least cater for others un less this was not an official event but if it was official then it shows that this game is not intended for non Russians becose you clearly state you wont bother doing anything for us if we can make our own official comp then i will gladly set one up for the English speaking player if that is what they wish
and as for the community not being active this forum seems to be very much alive we just don’t get told anything from the Russian forums we seem to be kept in the dark on a lot of things and find out about thing at the last minuet.

So there’s the problem in the logic, if there’s few foreign players -> less information to foreign players -> even less players. I made the suggestion of having the announcements earlier as a possible mitigating solution, so that all relevant information can be put down on an actual post and seen by everyone in time instead of the day before. I’m not going around asking for a complete overhaul catered to us; just a post! There’s also the issue of the times being inconvenient for many foreign players, but the we understand that everyone can’t be accommodated, and have been trying to participate nonetheless.
Take a look at the previous survivor event; the announcement was done earlier, and you had more foreign players participate; Halbarus even got second place. And in the tourney, even though it was 2 or so in the morning for them, 2 corps were able to scrounge together a makeshift team. I can tell you were upset that you were waiting on players, but this response considering that we were severely lacking in necessary information is inappropriate.
The news have been posted at the same time on both forums, but we will try to improve the organization next saturday.

Thanks, I know that news of event was as timely as possible, and it was pretty much word for word on the news section both forums. It’s just that some critical bits of information were on the discussion section of the Russian forum rather than the news section, such as the fact that players needed to watch a stream for information. This info would be easily missed by players that don’t frequent the Russian forums, for obvious reasons.
I apologize for stating that the event was very disorganized, I know that it takes a lot of time and effort to have an event; holding events within my corp is difficult by itself, I can’t imagine how it is when it is for multiple communities of players. Looking back at my post I could understand why Kopets felt jilted, but it wasn’t my intention.
Event record
If u are good with my pronounce( 0:35:30) then we can make english stream too(mb we’ll need someone from your comunity)
