Paint master race!

Tillo … New corp??? and Russian??? WTF man he still asking for Syria passports from me what are u talking about…?

i like the ideas at least in dev blog form.

well, obviously.

it sounds round robin.

How the vision is presented is one thing, how it is executed is a totally different one…

Sounds messy but interesting. The real question is just the implementation.

I expected more harsh review from you

Just implement a few stages and then wait for it. :fed002:

Unless it is really well done.

please please PLEASE make a tutorial video for this new system.

make this video FAR In advance of the update, make this video by someone who can convey the ideas clearly, and please RELEASE this video at least a week before the SecCon update is released.

I’m begging you to make this easier for us than the first time Sec Con was changed.  It would be great for us to get into the flow of things right away instead of being super confused and angry the first few times

Thank you for the big change though, it was much needed and is happily welcomed by me!!!

please please PLEASE make a tutorial video for this new system.

sure thing

Well I’m glad sec con will be reworked. But hope it will be bug- and exploit-free, and is actually fun to play, unlike the current system

> Involving mercenaries or casual pilots will no longer be possible.

This system is similar to another space game where new players and corporations are completely excluded from high-level activities for months - if not years - till their experience and assets grow to the point where they become useful for bigger corporations and alliances. Result: most players play solo PvE and quit the game thinking it’s neither fun nor engaging.

Challenge: make a ‘lets play’ video for the game … “ok guys so this is star conflict. And this is the hangar… .soo… ok hmmm… see you next week!”

I’m like “who asked for that?” - I mean come on… another game-mode?

Corporation pilots can recover strength of the selected location by winning in normal PvP-battles.

you mean completely on their own?   - have you guys thought this through? Does any of you play PvP ?

It’s like “you gain points for your team by playing football alone. If you play alone the whole weekend and tell your coach, the team gets 1 pointz”

What about focusing on making the core of the game good instead of constantly introducing “great new” features?

Haven’t one of your employees walked into the office yelling “Wow this sucks… we need to do something about this!”  ?

I don’t know if you’re aware of this, but most of us can’t ask our boss to change our work hours because our Corp needs us to be online at a specific time. As such, being able to help the Corp through normal play is a really good idea.

I am and it is a good idea. But it’s also kind of lame… I mean wouldn’t you agree? - If you think it’s super fun to play PvP alone and pretend like the corp is doing it together, then fine. I have no objections then. It might be my limited imagination

Seems like a good opportunity to reintroduce 4 man squads

Maybe the open space should be linked to this, rather than the PvP. PvP is a quick game mode with few chances of being effective and reasonable for the sector conquest. But Open Space presence and effectiveness should be in stake for that matter. It would be a shame to be on a bad team and screw the corporation. It would be a shame to have newbies bringing the corp stats down. You know, an army would not send their inexperienced soldiers to handle battles on their own. A corporation would not send inexperienced people to take care of their business. PvP and PvE: that’s just fun with no strings attached, most part of the time. It’s a way to level up your ships, to improve your skills and stats. Corporations could be affected by the daily tournaments mentioned on the post. Like a different PvP mode… still that’s too vague for me to relate to.

“season” based warfare… thats more like it. It kinda forces a corp to work for its reward. …we’re döömed… we need more players for that :stuck_out_tongue:
