Do you plan to create a ship for EVERY class in that “Unique ship” tech tree (except destroyers… maybe…) ?

Last NY 17 they gave us one new ship – Ellydium:Tharga, now its 3.  They will do the stats, analysis and balancing in the weeks following the NY holidays… thats for sure!

… I think its easier to add new rank range in to the code, to develop the game in a new direction.

And I guess the nerfed development/research-points for the Ellydium ships will come back (with a new green node)…

 

 

This patch is awesome. It’s a bit sad that we’ll have to wait another 1-2 month get it fully released

Totally worth it for a ship as good looking as the Wolfhound though.

Yes!

I like that the upcoming Federation gunship ‘Wolfhound’ is, typically for the Fed, more round and smooth in shape, while the new Empire command fighter  ‘Granite’ is more edgy in design! Both fit in to the respective faction’s look-and-feel.

 

Finally human ships!

I absolutely love the Wolfhound in every way like holy flipping heck. It is so beautiful. Finally a legitimate bomber!!!

It needs to be able to shoot bombs from under it like carpet bombing too.

 

Also look at this cool thing.

Apparenrly all the modules are getting a boring, uglifying update.

well, no-one has bothered to ask… I read through the comments… and failed to find an answer… so I guess that means I’ll have to be the one to ask

Will wolfhounds Archangel Missiles be “Homing missiles” or “dumbfire rockets”? I ask because 850m/s is pretty slow, and the power output just isn’t there for a hit-or-miss weapon the way “torpedos” are. everything else looks clear and concise, but I do need to know the charicteristics of the special module if I’m going to be picking up the ship (I personally dislike dumbfire rocket style missiles, with the exception of the torpedo, which has (limited) use fired at a beacon to hit interceptors around said beacon) they’re good for stationary targets, bad for anything with an engine…

I do hope they are homing missiles

The way u transformed it is magnificent. I mean, iconic gunship in space, in gunship class, with matching Archangel ability and i guess(hope) missiles will shoot from pylons.  Best be careful u r setting some pretty high standards for the future.
