Developer Blog entry from February, 12th. Economics, Sector Conquest and Efficiency.

That’s hardly an option without a pre-made squad, nobody queues for that.

So make a squad? Plenty of easy free T5 loot.

I don’t know why he doesn’t make one - I don’t do it because I hate PVE.

You know there’s this thing called Pirate Complex right?

That needs a queue or a corp.  It’s the same way with T4 PvP.  Even if there were a queue it would take a while to get enough solo queuing players experienced with it to at least half decently win.

Why are they developing endgame mechanics while its still in beta?

It’s not beta, it’s “beta.”

They don’t want you complaining about massive game changing patches so they call it “beta.”

Loving this patch. Great work devs. I love how you restricted sector q for the end gamers and thus diffused the major issue players described facing. 7s who either did not know what they were getting into and therefor got annoyed by 15s spanking em, or players who expected to do well without a slew of maxed out 15s. A player warned me as to what SQ was way before I even ranked up to try it and I loved the idea regardless of how hard it may be for me to successfully fight in that game mode with my current T3 ships. Badass are those who fly maxed ships, they have played this game longer and know more and can teach more as a result. I believe many pilots wouldn’t have cared how bad I was outmatched in SQ at T7 if they had been informed as I had and maybe in the way the player said it. /trepidation. however many probably would because frankly, gamers whine like the spoiled western brats we are.

On a side not flying against better pilots such as those T4/T5 who drop down or any high skill pilots gives me more to work with in a shorter time than reading articles (often but not always), and that learning cant have a value placed on it. more has been learned that way here than in most other titles for me. Thanks to those that kicked my butt…we will meet again =)

T4 talk was what I came here to talk about actually, but now I crave more loot so this will be fast. T4 seems like a great place for my outfit/corp because we are new and are going to be grinding ships for a LONG time. We would be using T4 for PVP training for T5 while grinding savings for T5 upgrades. T4 will take a ton of time to fully upgrade just one ship for each of us. I have no problem avoiding T5 for awhile and just enjoying the ships and strategy associated with T4. T3 has been AWESOME. I am looking forward to replicating this experience in T4 but that is still a ways off as I have much to earn and much to learn. PREY has a long time before we reach T5 and are proper for SQ. We will be as we hope others are (bless us matchmaking gawdz!) patiently enjoying our way to T5 because we just got here and are in no rush. T5 seems to be the place where going there unprepared is a very very bad idea, as a result I cannot see how getting to T5 fast is a good for anyone or anything other than dying to maxed T5 ships more and faster than you would if you had spent T4 preparing for the end like I feel we should be.

Just my opinion and a very new one at that =)
