That’s right, they were! Which is odd, since not only do we never get to use our dreadnoughts against them, the sectors they appear in don’t have dreadnoughts in there, either.
I can understand why the first one isn’t true yet, but putting some dreadnoughts in sectors would be pretty awesome. Put one in Solaris Wasteland and have it engage the several million aliens there…

Kinda reminds me of how the mothership in HW2 dies. Basically, in an epic way

Where is the human destroyers? We can’t fly Destroyer class ships yet?
I seriously hope that the Destroyer PvE mission will involve dreadnoughts in some way. I have a hard time believing our standard ships alone could ever take down that beast…
That said, it would be cool if we got some kind of super-dreadnought.
Maybe go along the lines of the Empire from Star Wars:
Our current dreadnoughts seem to be as big as the Inquisitor Class Super Star Destroyer, so maybe our super-dreadnoughts could be the size of the Malevolent Class, or maybe we could get one as big as the Eclipse Class… XD (wishful thinking)
Note for reference: The Executor Class Super Star Destroyer was the one Darth Vader flew around in in Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back
The Eclipse Class Star Destroyer has never been 35km long and will never be that long, it is exactly half of it, same for the Eclipse II.
Eclipse Class SSD is even shorter than the Executor, but with more weapons and superlaser, also it has higher stats in all other lengths.
Expect the Destroyer to be a bigger sized cruiser ship designed to cripple the defense of other systems or destroy them entirely if possible.
I can’t give you details right now.
But it won’t be their last mothership i suspect, their bigger things will be more like this:
Who doesn’t know, it’s the Cylon Colony from Battlestar Galactica, these little marked objects are their Baststars, which have a length of approx. 1,4km.
The spheres you can see in the Leviathan Sector are probably like their Death Stars, constructed to wipe out whole Star System while connecting valubale resources and energy. Or maybe they are even far distanced Dyson Spheres.
And their capital Cities could be as the High Charity from Halo, totally oversized and a heigth of more than 400km
And maybe their main installation and their strongest / biggest thing as like this:
But who knows, maybe the Destroyer is their biggest ship already and you will have to fight with 500 dreadnoughts against it.
Or simply bigger as the biggest of these…
