We decided delete all works, which connected with the game balance, flame and e.t.c. And left only gameplay comics and Star Conflict universe.
It wasn’t intended as an offensive or critical contribution, but rather a humorous take on the current discussions within the community through the medium of a popular meme.
Edit: no less than three of the remaining entries (e.g. almost all of them) are related to beachballs - e.g. game balance. - or contain flaming (remarks to newbies). Please do enlighten me as to how these are different, so that we understand the decision and exact criteria for the competition more clearly.
The primary purpose was to induce some giggles among the community, which it did. If the Russian community didn’t like it, then with all due respect but the competition has been split across the EN and RU communities for a reason and this side of things has to be judged through the goggles of the English speaking community, who clearly found it amusing.
I can’t help but feel that a double standard was applied here, and I’m somewhat disappointed that no dialogue was opened prior to the unilateral removal of the aforementioned content - after it had already been live for a long enough period for practically all active members of the community to see it.
It was 2nd, not 1st in terms of “likes” actually. Though it’s intresting to see their community team do a “damage control” action which is kinda hilarious…
The leading one was made by Akaurl himself and posted a fair bit before any others. I assumed that this wasn’t an actual entry, but rather an example to get things started. Though I could of course be wrong. His entry is quite amusing as well, it certainly made me smile.
