V-3: drone unable to attach to the hull. Damn! It’s drifted free! Is it still transmitting?
C: Confirmed. Vertigo-Three, this is a direct order; withdraw to safe distance immediately!

man I will tell you something that pic is beautiful it should be made in to a wallpaper
I kind of wish I’d been able to get it silhouetted against the nebula, but as it was I nearly died three times getting that shot and his friends made sure there was no fourth attempt.
I’ve got a lot of desktop background and T-Rex mkII glory shots in the alien sector although they don’t really convey the whole
Invasion" thing. If anyone wants some backgrounds though…

There are no clear description or instruction as to what we are looking for to screenshot with. Alien ship? Sounds pretty vague to me. I don’t know. Maybe because I’m new to invasion? Any help would be appreciated.

Alien ships. Can be hard because…

Aliens only appear in certain sectors, and even so, for only a limited time before they bugger off to wherever they came from.

Alien ships are mighty powerful. It is often necessary to engage them only when you have other players backing you up.

Alien ships aggro at ~4km outside of their territory. It is highly possible you may die before you get a closeup or mugshot.

Getting to unknown space is a random chance.
Personally, I wouldn’t want to go to unknown space to get a screenie. Loses that ‘invasion’ feel.
Well, when I go to unknown space I usually bring drones and a LRF with Heavy Blasters. Go cloak, fly by a squad of hunters. Take a screeny. Aggro them once your at a spire with a decent hidey hole. Kill the squad and repeat for another, you then can leave the sector with 1.5 million. Case Closed.
Here’s a shot that could do with some Hunters coming in form the top right…I will try to get some more alien pics but I don’t like the green haze in the normal sectors
