pretty sure it will have smaller weapons to shoot at smaller ships like defensive lasers but in the end it will blow up and a ship that big needs lots and lots of crew … so when it blows up we’ll be mass murderers lol

I wish big ships like that have multi targetting systems so it can make things bugger off quicker, if any one remembers freespace 2, they will remember the ships had flak guns, beam cannons, Anti-fighter beam cannons, gauss guns, and missile bays, and a fighter hanger sticking out of the sides or bottom. Thats what makes giant ships epic, the fact that they are just MADE to take damage and dish out damage to everything around them.
Sure its fun making a giant ship shoot at only one target at a time but to me it doesn’t create that “space environment vibe” you get where you feel as there is a bigger battle happening all around you.
Wow, that’s an expert level using Sketchup :fed008: . I modelled some spaceships in Sketcup too as a hobby but I never knew that it’s used for game development and can be used in this advanced level.
Btw, this made me think of if the clans in SC could use huge ships not controlled by one person, but some clan members could control the turrets, other would be responsible for the control, and there would be a captaion of course, it could be launch fighters and so on. Clans could have a nice use of it in clan wars :005j: .
Now this get’s me excited, something I’ll be working towards and using to help Jericho win this war >:)

The PVE mission where they send fleets at yo uin 4 waves (and eventually a boss in the 4th) if you look around you’ll notice that giant thing you’re buzzing around is the ship. It makes frigates look like drones.

no info on what kind of battles it will be used for. (clan battles, but noone knows what they will be like)
no info on when it will be out
no info on who will get to pilot it
no info on wich clans will get one
no info on what kind of modules
all we know is, it is designed, and it MAY be implemented at some point in the future
so this is basicly one big tease

A: We expect that the dreadnoughts to be bases of the corporations. The process of building the dreadnought will take some time and is likely to require some resources. We are currently planning to introduce dreadnoughts in battles in some way.
