There was a question somewhere there, asking about what happens to modules if engi dies. Modules Stay.
does this apply to warpgates as well now?

The Warp gate also remains until it is destroyed or it’s time runs out.
…so confusing!
okay…let’s get this straight:
Right now:
Engineer plants warp gate > dies > warp gate dissapears as well
After patch:
Engineer plants Remote shield heal + warp gate > dies > warpgate and remote shield heal stays
Is that correct? I dislike the fact that warp gates stay, since a badly placed warp gate can kill like 5 people that way…

as they said, i think so.
but you cant blame the developers for missplaced gates. its up to you to fly through it; noone else :kamikadze:
there was absolutly no reason for removing the gate (its a structure, no energy-only phenomenon) if its owner died in my opinion.
well, the guard torps dont scale damage on size (meaning, being bigger in an aoe field should actually give you *more* damage), so again, the LRF from jericho is pretty much the nuke in T2, and useless later, since it may only hurt ceptors, which actually should not be its primary use. (There are really nuff counters against Ceptors)
If the Jericho LRF Torp would damage bigger ships more, and maybe only lose like % damage through a guard defense instead of being shot down, it might work, too.
edit: nevermind, like the changes.
Damn Steams anti-piracy policy is to strong! Gajin do something and get DLC on steam faster!
xKostyan why does it matter when it gets on steam? The DLC is a joke, far overpriced for what you get.

If you buy it, you’ll have become just like EA’s clients on Origin. Brainless.
I fully agree with Oryngton.
Paying what? almost 90 euro for 2 or so terrible ships, and terrible other things besides!

While it could be the engineers fault if its placed 1km infront of a huge rock (thoes who dies deserves it then). Most of the time its the player who splashed himself into the rocks fault, you get launced in the same direction as you enter the gate in, not the way the gate is facing…which many players dont seem to have figured out yet somehow (t3).
yeah that was because you couldn’t see or find the stealthed ship resulting in a quick game with no way to counter it. With all due respect, what is your point?
I still frequently see ships disappear from radar in detonation, even today. It hasn’t gone away. The only time I see them is when planting the bomb, not even when they’re 1km away.
Would it make Jer LRF usefull, Yes it would!
They might even become too usefull, but can’t say that for sure without actually testing that in action.
Too useful? No, because look at the number of Jericho LRF’s in a battlefield compared to frigates firing off a disintegrator. It needs balancing.

Except when it’s right when you spawn and surprise, there’s a warp gate right in front of you!
For all of those who probably will moan about remote repaits:
Get a repair kit. It does the same job.
Anti, I apporove of this patch fully.
It’s slow, so slow it’s a waste of an active module. Maybe in ten minutes you can heal your hull that’s down to below 10%, but unless it’s realistic you’re better off commiting suicide and respawning. If you’re lucky you can find an engineer to heal you, but that’s not always possible. Compare that to an engineer’s heals, which in PvE can take on the shipyard boss without getting out of sight.
