Big Autumn Survey! (Discussion)

Sorting through the amount of feedback given from something like this can be massive, it may be a long time before we see any direct results.

It could take 1 month.

Just one thing I didn’t write into the poll… This needs to get back like it was before:"Now identical modifiers mounted on the same ship have different effectiveness

The first module has 100% effectiveness

Two modules have 90% effectiveness each

Three modules have 80% effectiveness each’’

This is really stupid change, so please remove it asap

I honestly don’t think it’s that big of a deal. Yes, the impact to adaptives means my covops is more fragile–and other impacts for other ships too. Builds change, that’s not a bad thing necessarily.

Sure, but  I also wrote a lot of extensive feedback in the fields, where applicable.

I know.

Well it nerfd the hell out of my special project ships… Adaptives, galvanized, iridium hastinks, horizons…

100%,95% & 90% would be maybe OK but 80% for 3 modifiers, c’mon…

And verniers… Omg my ships are crap now

I think that would still be more acceptable.

As for the implants, at least 2 or 3 of them could use a little buff!

I don’t want there to be bad blood between us, but to be honest, these are some of the worst stats I’ve seen in OWL. You need to worry about your basic gameplay before you worry about your ships.

you obviously haven’t seen my stats then ^^

Yours are better. Plus I haven’t seen you complaining about ship balance changes. xD

Well they are not pure crap but still they were better before.

And verniers… Omg my ships are crap now

i dont fit a single vernier on my interceptors (due to wobble), instead i use strafe; combine them.

as stated above: combine mods that work for the same goal: galvanized–>use 1 along with single resist mod like kinetic or thermal (a volume mod for 3rd slot works pretty well). Iridium heatsinks–>change 1 for pulse discharger or use acceleration coils if you have projectile weapons. Horizons–>if you have 3 better rely on implants or ammo if available (2 doesnt make much difference). Adaptives–> either you take the 80% reduction for each (wich is like adding 25 pts on the last adaptive) or replace the 3rd one with shield resist or volume.

I would bet that in 7/10 games I’ll do better then U. And I’m complaining because all my secret projects got nerfed real bad, they are still great ships but they were way better before

I’ll have to resetup, the worst thing, well for me, is to change 1 hastink 4 1 pulse disc… coz that will take a bite of energy regen… As I said my ships are still real good but they took a nice hit with that last patch.

Pretty hard to believe that for PvP. If that were the case you would have a positive win rate.

I would bet that in 7/10 games I’ll do better then U.

Gameplayed: 8423; Win rate 46%;

Well, according to statistics and your denial, you are one of the bigger contributing factors to your team losing.

I would bet that in 7/10 games I’ll do better then U.

46% win loss and 1.16 kill death vs FRisk who has 4 kill death and 56% win loss.

Of course stats don’t always tell the truth, my k/d says 1.6 but currently i get about 4-5 kills per death. but i have seen you ingame zdemon and you are nowhere near as good as focused.

I’ll have to resetup… As I said my ships are still real good but they took a nice hit with that last patch.

Good! Seriously, the devs should have kept the more severe penalty of 100, 85, 66!

If your builds are going to suffer that much from this patch, it’s because you are one of the Meta players it was targeted at!

The ENTIRE point of this change was exactly that: force a change in the Meta game!

Working as intended.

I just swapped a few things. Also it is only a few % and other apps will also be reduced a few % so it’s all good
